摘要: The present disclosure sets forth a motion sensing outdoor security light with the flexibility of being mounted to either a wall structure or to an eave or ceiling structure. An adjustable spherical motion sensor housing may be provided with the rotationally adjustable outdoor security light, allowing easy adjustment of motion detection ranges under different mounting schemes without comprising the aesthetic design of the light. The adjustable spherical motion sensor housing may also provide an enlarged horizontal field of view for better performance.

The lighting controller can sense the appropriate connected supply and automatically connect to three different power supplies which include house voltage connection through a typical junction box, a remote solar charging station, and on-board batteries that can be used as a third backup power supply. Additional implementations include power outage detection and backup illumination along with low voltage power supply from a mounting structure.

摘要: The present disclosure sets forth an outdoor security light with the flexibility of being mounted to either a wall structure or to an eave or ceiling structure. The security light can be adjusted for each installation without the necessity of changing hardware elements of the security luminaire. Disclosed designs include a luminaire housing having a housing mount which is removably received within a housing mount attached to a structure. An electrical interface between the two may be provided to provide electrical power to the luminaire housing and provide communication therebetween.

摘要: The described embodiments relate to systems, methods, and apparatuses for providing a lighting system that includes backup light emitting diodes (LEDs) that are incorporated into a primary array of LEDs of the lighting system. The backup LEDs can be illuminated when a utility power source for the lighting system becomes unavailable. The backup LEDs can operate from a backup power supply, which can be charged from the utility power source, when the utility power source is available. Furthermore, charging of the backup power supply can be temperature dependent, in order that the backup power supply and/or the charging circuit can be protected from damage caused by operating such components out of an operating specification.
