    Abstract: A plasma display panel is disclosed. The plasma display panel includes a front substrate on which a scan electrode and a sustain electrode are positioned parallel to each other, a rear substrate on which an address electrode is positioned to intersect the scan and sustain electrodes, a barrier rib positioned between the front and rear substrates to partition a discharge cell, and a phosphor layer that is positioned in the discharge cell and includes a phosphor material and MgO material. At least two scan electrodes are adjacently positioned. The barrier rib includes a first barrier rib positioned parallel to the scan and sustain electrodes, and a second barrier rib intersecting the first barrier rib. A height of the first barrier rib is different from a height of the second barrier rib.
