摘要： An acoustic enclosure (10) has interconnected sound reducing panels forming a substantially rectangular structure which is configured to house a computer printer. Each side (12,14) panel is a multiple strata panel having an outer polymeric stratum (26), a multiple channel intermediate thermoplastic stratum (28) and an inner open celled acoustic material stratum (30). The rear and bottom panels (16, 18) are multiple stratum panels, having multiple channel intermediate thermoplastic stratum (46) which is sandwiched between inner and outer polyurethane foam strata (44,48). An adhesive material (42) is provided for bonding the outer stratum to the intermediate stratum and the intermediate stratum to the inner stratum for each of the panels. An angle member (62) affixed to the intermediate stratum is provided for joining adjacent panels of the enclosure. A rigid thermoplastic hinged cover (22) having a uniform bend (52) is provided for closing the enclosure.

The improvement resides in providing the surface of the rotatable carbon steel member in sealing relationship with the ring seal with a fused alloy coating metallurgically bonded thereto, the coating being formed of a heat and corrosion resistant welding alloy composition containing about 10% to 30% by weight chromium and the balance at least about 60% nickel, such that the carbon steel member is protected against oxidation and ignition due to overheating.

The absorbent pad comprises a mat of liquid absorbent material, an upper liquid impermeable plastic sheet overlying the absorbent mat, and a bottom plastic sheet underlying the absorbent mat. At least one of the sheets is perforated, and spacer means is disposed between the two sheets to maintain their separation under a compressive load, and such that the ability of the pad to absorb liquids is unimpaired when the pad is subjected to a compressive load resulting from the food product resting thereon or the like. Preferably only the bottom sheet is perforated, and when a food product is positioned upon the upper sheet of the absorbent pad, any exuded liquids will flow around the pad and enter the mat by capillary action through the perforated openings of the bottom sheet, and the liquids will be held out of contact with the food product to thereby minimize contamination of the product and maintain its appearance and improve its shelf-life.

摘要： An absorbent pad is provided which is useful in a receptacle for containing and displaying food products which tend to exude juices or liquids. The absorbent pad comprises a mat of liquid absorbent material, which comprises a layer of paper wadding and a layer of wood fluff, with the layers being mechanically interconnected. A plastic liquid impermeable sheet overlies one side of the mat, and a plastic perforated sheet overlies the other side. When the food product is positioned upon the upper sheet of the absorbent pad, any exuded liquids will flow around the pad and enter the mat by capillary action through the perforated openings of the bottom sheet, and the liquids will be held out of contact with the food product to thereby minimize contamination of the product and maintain its appearance and improve its shelf-life. The pad also has independent utility as a moisturizing device for use in closed food containers or packages.
