Abstract: A printing apparatus is disclosed herein. The apparatus comprises a platen and a carriage. Abstract: A method of digital printing is disclosed in which a digital image to be printed has at least one region having pixels comprising superpositioned layers of a first ink and a second ink. Abstract: A printing method is disclosed, in which a fixing liquid is applied to a print medium both to first regions of the print medium that are to be printed and to second regions of the print medium that are not to be printed. A printing liquid is also applied to the print medium at the first regions of the print medium.
