    摘要: There is provided a fuel cell stacking body that allows a connector unit to be used even when the thickness of the fuel cells has been made thinner. A fuel cell stacking body is provided with stacked fuel cells that each have a membrane electrode assembly and separators that sandwich this membrane electrode assembly. The fuel cells generate electricity when fuel gas and oxidizer gas are supplied. The separators of the fuel cells are provided with terminals that enable voltage to be measured by being connected to connectors that are connected an external voltage measuring apparatus. One of the voltage measuring sections is formed at a different position, with respect to the stacking direction, from the voltage measuring section that is adjacent in the stacking direction. The spacing between terminals that are at the same position with respect to the stacking direction is kept at a distance that allows a connector unit formed by grouping together a plurality of connectors to be inserted.

    摘要: A cell voltage measuring device for a fuel cell includes a terminal member to be connected to a separator of the fuel cell, the terminal member including a first end and a second end, and a voltage measuring unit which measures cell voltage of the fuel cell through the terminal member. The first end of the terminal member is fixed to the voltage measuring unit, and the second end of the terminal member makes contact with the separator, and an elastic portion is provided between the first end and the second end of the terminal member. The cell voltage measuring device may further includes a holder member which is capable of maintaining a state in which the second end of the terminal member is separated from each other, and the holder member is movably attached in a stacking direction of the separator with respect to the voltage measuring unit.

    摘要: First and second fuel cell stacks having a simple and compact structure are connected in parallel to each other to enable ensuring a desired electric power generating performance. The first and second fuel cell stacks have the same structure and are arranged in parallel to each other with polarities thereof reversed. A manifold piping is mounted to one ends of the first and second fuel cell stacks. In order to supply an oxidizer gas, a fuel gas, and a coolant to the first and second fuel cell stacks, at least an oxidizer-gas supply pipe, a fuel-gas supply pipe, and a coolant supply pipe in the manifold piping are provided to be symmetrical with respect to the first and second fuel cell stacks.

The first separator has an oxygen-containing gas flow passage for allowing an oxygen-containing gas in a serpentine pattern to flow horizontally back and forth, and flow downwardly. Partition areas are provided along the oxygen-containing gas flow passage in the serpentine pattern. The partition areas are formed by partially cutting out a gas diffusion layer. Insulating seals for preventing leakage of the oxygen-containing gas are provided in the partition areas.
