摘要: A board-mount electrical connector capable of maintaining favorable solderability of a connecting section of a terminal for a long term and preventing occurrence of a whisker in a bent section of the terminal is provided. The electrical connector includes a plurality of terminals each having at one end a contact section which contacts a mating contact and having, at the other end, a connecting section which connects to a circuit board. A bent section is located in a middle portion between the contact section and the connecting section. An insulating housing holds the plurality of terminals. On each terminal, a bright tin-plated layer and a semi-bright tin plated layer are formed on respective surfaces of the contact section and the connecting section leaving the surface of the middle portion unplated by tin such that the semi-bright tin-plated layer is thicker than the bright tin-plated layer.

摘要: A receptacle terminal includes a contact section. The contact section includes a substantially L-shaped contact spring, a first protection member, and a second protection member. The contact spring includes a link arm and a contact arm. The link arm has a first edge and a second edge opposite the first edge. The first edge extends in a mating direction of a mating terminal. The contact arm extends along the first edge and has a tip end portion connected to the first edge. The first protection member has a first link arm protection member opposing the second edge. The second protection member has a second link arm protection member opposing the first edge. The receptacle terminal thereby ensures protection of the contact spring and necessary contact pressure between the receptacle terminal and a mating terminal while having a small external size.

摘要: A connector includes a female connector housing, that has a male terminal, and a male connector housing that has a female terminal for electrical connecting to the male terminal, and that is adapted to be fitted into the female connector. The male connector housing includes an inner housing which has the female terminal, and which is adapted to be fitted in the female connector housing so that the female terminal is connected to the male terminal, and an outer housing which is adapted to support the inner housing so that the inner housing is movable in a first direction in which the inner housing is fitted in the female connector housing and in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. When the inner housing is fitted into the female connector housing, the inner housing is disposed so as to separate from the outer housing in the second direction with a first gap.

摘要: In a connector lock structure 1 provided at female and male connectors which can be fitted together, the female connector 2 has an engagement portion 14, and a slide lock member 13 is supported on the male connector 3 so as to move at least in connector-inserting and connector-withdrawing directions. The slide lock member 13 includes a retaining portion 16 for engagement with the engagement portion 14, and urging member 36 for urging the slide lock member 13. When the engagement portion 14 reaches an engagement position where it is engaged with the retaining portion 16 at the time when the female and male connectors are completely fitted together, the slide lock member 13 is automatically moved by the urging member 36, so that the retaining portion 16 is engaged with the engagement portion 14.

摘要: The present invention is to provide a connector which is not subjected to an excess force when a locking securing unit is operated to remove engagement. The connector includes a male housing, a locking arm for engaging with a locking projection of a mating connector, a locking securing unit, and deformation switching portions. The locking securing unit is movably disposed between a regulation position to regulate a resilient deformation of the locking arm and an allowance position to allow the resilient deformation thereof. The deformation switching portions have a first interfering portion disposed on the locking arm and a second interfering portion disposed on the locking securing unit. When the locking securing unit is in the allowance position, the first and second interfering portions interfere each other and the locking arm resiliently deforms to remove engagement with the locking projection. When the locking securing unit is in the regulation position, the first and second interfering portions separate each other.

摘要: The present invention is to provide a connector which is not subjected to an excess force when a locking securing unit is operated to remove engagement. The connector includes a male housing, a locking arm for engaging with a locking projection of a mating connector, a locking securing unit, and deformation switching portions. The locking securing unit is movably disposed between a regulation position to regulate a resilient deformation of the locking arm and an allowance position to allow the resilient deformation thereof. The deformation switching portions have a first interfering portion disposed on the locking arm and a second interfering portion disposed on the locking securing unit.
