摘要： The ball for ball games has a ball body and a spherical shell-shaped outer layer having a plurality of leather panels and disposed on the outside of the ball body. The plurality of leather panels each have a main body and an extending portion that is thinner than the main body and extends from a front-side portion of an outer end surface of the main body to configure an outer end surface of the leather panel. The extending portions of adjacent leather panels are bonded to each other with an adhesive and stitched together with a stitching thread. In the ball for ball games, the extending portion is provided with a reinforcing member for reinforcing an area thereof stitched with the stitching thread.

摘要： A method of manufacturing a multi-layer outer panel for a game ball includes three-dimensionally forming a top layer of an outer panel, as well as one or more backing materials disposed underneath the top layer, into a shape substantially corresponding to the surface of the ball. Multi-layer outer panels are then attached to or interconnected to surround an inflatable bladder, thereby producing a game ball while minimizing overstretching of the outer material or the backing material and improving resistance of the outer panels to delamination.

摘要： A whistle is provided with an interior that can be cleaned. The whistle has a body with a resonance chamber wall. One face of a resonance chamber formed by the resonance chamber wall is open. A side plate is formed separately from the body, and can be attached to and removed from the body. The side plate has a first portion that blocks the one face of the resonance chamber when attached to the body. A first flange is provided on the first portion and is engageable with the resonance chamber wall. At least one of the resonance chamber wall and the first flange is elastically deformable. An air passageway, the resonance chamber, an air opening that is opened in the air passageway, and a sound-emitting opening that is opened in the resonance chamber are formed by the body and the side plate.

摘要： A method for making a ball for sports comprises providing a round rubber tube, forming a reinforcing layer of a yarn wound about the tube, forming a rubber cover layer formed on the reinforcing layer, and vulcanizing the rubber cover layer to provide a carcass. In the method, the reinforcing layer is formed by winding, in combination, a covered yarn made of a urethane elastomer core thread wound thereabout with a synthetic resin filament or in combination with the synthetic resin filament and a yarn made of a member selected from the group consisting of cotton, polyesters and polyamides. The carcass may be attached with a skin layer made of a natural or artificial leather. Alternatively, the round rubber tube having the reinforcing layer may be attached with a skin layer.

Various properties of said ball such as shock-absorptivity, shape-maintaining property, impact resilience and the like can be set within appropriate ranges.

摘要： The ball for a ball game of the invention includes a fabric layer (1) having a spherical 12-hedron where twelve right pentagonal fabric pieces (2) are sewn together. The marginal edges of the fabric piece being folded by 90 degrees, and the marginal edges are sewn together with a sewing machine. The fabric layer is then reversed through cross-like slits (5a, 5b) formed in the fabric layer in a location opposite to a valve opening (5) (also formed in the fabric layer) in such a manner that the marginal edges are located on an inner side of the fabric layer. After the bladder is accommodated within the fabric layer through the closure hole (5), the hole (5) is closed by a patch. Onto a surface of the fabric layer, there is adhered the panels. Thereby, the ball for a ball game having no unevenness and soft feeling is attained.
