    摘要： An image forming apparatus includes a developing unit storage device including a plurality of storage sections capable of storing developing units and a first detection unit for detecting the presence/absence and types of the developing units in the plurality of storage sections, an image forming device which includes a second detection unit for detecting the presence/absence and a type of a developing unit in the image forming device, and can form an image on a recording material using the developing unit conveyed from the developing unit storage device, a communication device for causing the developing unit storage device and the image forming device to exchange data associated with the presence/absence and types of the developing units, a first display device for displaying the presence/absence and types of the developing units on the basis of a detection result by the first detection unit and the data transmitted from the image forming device by the communication device, and a second display device for displaying the presence/absence and types of the developing units on the basis of a detection result by the second detection unit and the data transmitted from the developing unit storage device by the communication device.

    摘要： An image processing apparatus has an input device such as a scanner for inputting an original image, and a mode setting device for setting an editorial processing mode such as trimming, enlargement or size reduction to be executed on the input image. The apparatus further has a processing device for performing, in accordance with the editorial processing mode set by the mode setting device, the editorial processing on the image input by the input device. The apparatus further has a storage control device for storing, in a storage medium such as a disk, the image after the editorial processing performed by the processing device, together with reproduction data which corresponds to the executed editorial processing mode. The reproduction data is used for reproducing the original input image from the image after the editorial processing.

    摘要： When the user depresses a soft key SW in an on-state of a door switch DSW in which a door is closed, a transistor Tr1 is turned on, a transistor Tr4 is turned on, a relay RL1 is turned on, and an AC power source is supplied to an image forming apparatus. When a jam occurs, a CPU 2 turns on a transistor Tr5 for a predetermined time and a latching relay RL2 is driven to the holding side. In this instance, since the latching relay RL2 is in a holding state, the AC power is again supplied in a manner similar to the case where the soft key SW is depressed.
