摘要: The present invention provides a method for accurately discriminating between prostate carcinoma and benign prostatic hyperplasia based on a glycan structure of prostate specific antigen (PSA). The method of the present invention includes the steps of: purifying PSA from a sample derived from a subject; preparing a PSA derivative from the PSA; labeling the PSA derivative; and analyzing the labeled PSA derivative by the mass spectrometry method, in which the subject is identified as having prostate carcinoma when the ratio of the signal intensity of fucose-unbound glycan to the signal intensity of fucose-bound glycan in the labeled PSA derivative is greater than 1.0, and identified as having benign prostatic hyperplasia when the ratio is 1.0 or less.

摘要: A physical random number generation device includes a physical random number generation source which generates a white noise, an AD conversion module which inputs the white noise for conversion to a physical prime random number as digital data, a physical prime random number sequence generation module which inputs two or more physical prime random numbers to generate a physical prime random number sequence, a white noise array generation module for inputting the physical prime random number sequence and for generating a white noise array, a white noise composition module for generating multiple physical random numbers from the input white noise array, and an interface for externally outputting the generated physical random numbers as physical random number data. With this arrangement, multiple physical random numbers are generated at high speeds from the physical prime random number(s) taken out of the physical random number generation source as digital data.

摘要: Processed plant fine fibers such as those from the mesocarp of a coconut together are blended with a biodegradable plastic to produce a biodegradable plastic product that can be further made into other items. Plastics thus made from coconut husk fine fiber powder will return to the environment after disposal much more rapidly than those without coconut husk fine fiber powder. In the process, a dry compressed plant fine fiber powder is created from fine fibers of the coconut mesocarp. An example product created from this raw material is composed of 10 to 40% by weight of dry coconut husk powder mixed with environmentally degradable plastic. Environmentally non-degradable plastic may be added to the dry powder as a biodegradation rate modulator to create a modified raw material with a modified biodegradation rate. Plastic additives, standard in the industry, can be added to achieve additional desired properties. For example, a surface active agent may be added in order to increase the degree of processability; a colorant may be added to increase marketability; pesticides may be added as needed in order to protect the product or the soil in which the product is disposed from insects; and/or polymerization modifiers such as cross-linkers, monomer derivatives, heteromonomers, curing agents, etc. may be utilized to vary the properties of the base plastic.

摘要: It is desired to realize designing of a light, compact body and improved brushing effect and massage effect without causing any inconvenience, and to prevent the tip of a brush formed by a bristle bundle from remaining curled.A flexible diaphragm 13 which is displaced together with a reciprocative base 10 of a brush 9 is provided between a body space 2 and a brush guide passage 6. An air introduction hole 15 having a valve 14 which opens only to the inside is formed in a midpoint of the brush guide passage 6. When the diaphragm 13 is displaced toward the body space 2 with the reciprocation motion of the base 10, air is introduced through the air introduction hole 15 into the brush guide passage 6, which is now under negative pressure. When the diaphragm 13 is displaced toward the brush guide passage 6, the introduced air is compressed and is ejected from the opening 6a at the tip. Thus, the body can be designed lightly and compactly, and the brushing effect and the massage effect are improved without causing inconvenience.
