摘要: Techniques of randomized testing of massively open online courses (MOOCs) involve generating independent A/B tests on the plurality of individual sections of a MOOC. Along these lines, a MOOC may have many learning modules, with many students enrolled in the MOOC. A course instructor may wish to experiment with different variations of course content in order to discover whether any such variations may improve the MOOC. Rather than perform a single A/B test during the MOOC to obtain results for which the course instructor would have to wait weeks, the instructor submits variations of various individual learning modules of the MOOC to a A/B testing server. The A/B testing server may then assign students in each lecture to different versions of a learning module. The A/B testing server may also evaluate the results of the testing in order to provide a recommendation about the MOOC as a whole.

In one embodiment, the systolic array can be arranged in two or greater dimensions, and each cell of the array comprises a ring oscillator. Data is read from a random access memory to provide the inputs to the systolic array. 摘要: Embodiments include apparatuses, methods, and systems for a random number generator that includes an entropy source. The entropy source may be coupled to a deterministic feedback circuit and a stochastic feedback circuit. The deterministic feedback circuit may include detection logic to detect when a bit of the output signal of the entropy source has registered, a pre-delay feedback path to cause the entropy source to power off responsive to the detection, and a post-delay feedback path to cause the entropy source to power on, after the entropy source is powered off, to generate a second bit of the output signal. The post-delay feedback path may include one or more delay cells that are bypassed by the pre-delay feedback path. Other circuits and techniques related to random number generators are also described. Further embodiments may be described and/or claimed.

The method is performed by an IP generation apparatus comprising one or more processors and memory and includes: forming a plurality of initialized partial numbers by dividing a decimal number indicating a count of IP addresses that can be generated; changing the partial numbers according to a predetermined rule; generating an IP decimal number by linking the changed partial numbers; generating a random IP address from the IP decimal number; and generating a plurality of different random IP addresses with improved time efficiency, by sequentially repeating the changing of the partial numbers, the generating of the IP decimal number and the generating of the random IP address.

摘要: An apparatus is presented for generating a true random number generator (TRNG). The apparatus includes a magnetic tunnel junction (MTJ) device including a first layer, a second layer, and third layer, as well as a bias circuit to bias the MTJ device along with a pulse height discriminator and a time-to-amplitude convertor to generate random bit-streams. The second layer is a barrier layer with an energy barrier height in the order of 20 kT, where k is the Boltzmann constant and T is the absolute temperature. Random flipping of an orientation of magnetization of the third layer is induced by thermal fluctuations in the MTJ device.
