摘要: Devices, systems, and methods for percussion therapy of a patient's torso area provide percussive force to release and/or dislodge mucous from respiratory airways of a human patient. Such devices, systems, and methods may include a torso covering for securing to a patient's torso, percussive devices coupled to the torso covering, and an attachment assembly for supporting the torso covering. The percussive devices may include a percussion frame, an electromechanically actuated percussor for controlled movement between end positions, and resilient members attached to opposite ends of the percussion frame for assisting controlled movement of the percussor. The devices, systems, and methods disclosed herein provide efficient and comfortable high-frequency percussive force to a patient's torso, reducing stress on the patient and improving patient experience.

摘要: A high frequency chest wall oscillation apparatus includes an air pulse generator carried by a housing. Circuitry is carried by the housing and configured to control the air pulse generator. A control panel is carried by the housing and coupled to the circuitry. The control panel permits a user to select first and second respiratory ailments to be treated by application of pressure pulses from the air pulse generator to a chest of a patient.

摘要: Devices, systems, and methods for High Frequency Chest Wall Oscillation therapy can include a therapy garment including a covering garment for dressing on a patient's torso, the covering garment including a bladder pocket defined between inward and outward layers, and a fluid bladder arranged within the bladder pocket. The fluid bladder can define a pressurizable chamber adapted to receive pressurized fluid to provide force of high frequency pressure oscillation to a patient's chest wall. The pressurizable chamber can be formed to define an outer profile shaped to correspond closely with the patient's rib cage profile to reduce transfer of force of high frequency chest oscillation to the patient's torso outside of the patient's rib cage profile.
