摘要: An air intake includes a spike and a cylindrical cowl. The spike is composed of a plurality of plates which are arranged axial symmetrically around a central axis thereof, and the cowl includes an inner wall parallel to the central axis and is formed so as to enclose a rear portion of the spike via a given space. The adjacent ones of the plates form respective aerodynamic compressive surfaces in spaces formed by the adjacent ones. The distances between the adjacent ones of the plates are variable, and the distance between the forefront of the spike along the central axis and the cowl is variable.

摘要: It is an object of the present invention to provide a flying object using a thin elongated nose cone with a small tip angle for reducing the air resistance during flying, wherein the maximum loading capacity can be increased without decreasing the volume efficiency of the flying object by limitations placed on the accommodation space, regardless of the structure thereof. In the flying object in accordance with the present invention, which comprises a nose cone in the tip portion, the nose cone portion has a compressed structure in the axial direction during accommodation and expands on the tip side in the axial direction during flying, due to an expandable nose cone structure such that a disk with a small diameter is disposed in the forward position and the disks with a successively increasing diameter are disposed in the axial direction. After separation, the nose cone expands in the axial direction, deep cavities are formed between the disks, and a fine elongated nose cone with a small tip angle is provided, whereby the air resistance is reduced.

摘要: Pressure and density of a gaseous mixture are increased in the process of introducing the gaseous mixture into the combustor of an air-breathing pulse detonation engine employing atmospheric oxygen as an oxidizer. The exit valve 20 able to be opened and closed is provided at the outlet of the combustor 15, an air cooler 12 is provided in the exit of the intake, and density is increased by exchange of heat of the air received at the intake with a coolant in the air cooler 12. 摘要: A pumping ring 46 producing an axial flow of sealed flow is secured to a rotary shaft 6 at an axial position different from a rotary ring 56 so that the sealed fluid positioned in the sealed space 33 flows along the axial direction of the rotary shaft 6. A discharge hole 14 is formed on an inner circumferential surface of a seal cover 8 positioned in the downstream side of the axial flow of the sealed fluid resulting from a rotation of the pumping ring 46. An inflow hole 15 is formed in the upstream side of the axial flow of the sealed fluid resulting from the rotation of the pumping ring 46, so that the sealed fluid discharged from the discharge hole 14 returns to the inside of the sealed space from the inflow hole 15. On the inner circumferential surface of the seal cover 8 provided with the discharge hole 14, a baffle member 18 is provided so that it protrudes radially inward in order to block the flow of the sealed fluid along the rotating direction of a retainer 52 and orient the sealed fluid toward the discharge hole 14.

摘要: A situation can occur in which the seating location of a user is moved due to personnel changes within a division or the like, and the user has to use a different nearby image forming apparatus. In such a case, with conventional technology, it is not possible to efficiently transfer the settings information used in an image forming apparatus used before the personnel change to the new nearby image forming apparatus. According to the present invention, when an instruction to register an image forming apparatus is made in an application by the user, settings information set by the user is searched for in the image forming apparatuses that are registered in the application and the image forming apparatuses that were deleted from the application in the past, and they are presented as transfer candidates.

摘要: A gait change determination device includes a main body unit, an accelerometer that detects an acceleration of the main body unit, and a control unit, and determines a change in the gait of a user that wears the main body unit on a predetermined area. The control unit specifies a trajectory of a predetermined area on which the main body unit is worn during walking based on accelerations detected by the accelerometer, calculates the temporal change amount of the specified trajectory, and determines the degree of change, which is the degree of the temporal change, based on the calculated temporal change. The degree of change in the gait can be more accurately determined.

摘要: The present disclosure provides a squeeze packing having a cut surface that describes a three-dimensional curved surface shape, in which the cut surface can be temporarily held with ease and intimately attached in an accurate manner without the use of an adhesive during fitting onto a device. The squeeze packing has, on at least one arbitrary portion of an endless ring finished to predetermined dimensions, a cut surface describing a three-dimensional curved surface shape extending diagonally so as to form a predetermined angle θ with respect to a radial direction of the ring, having a substantially S-shaped profile in side view, and curving in a width direction.
