    摘要: The mechanical seal (3) includes: a rotary side sliding ring (32) which is supported by the large diameter side outer circumferential face (23) of the annular step section (21) of the rotary shaft (2) via the rotary side O-ring (37) and press-fitted into the annular step section (21) by gas pressure in the device; and an unturnable stationary side sliding ring (31) which is fixed onto the seal housing (1) side via the stationary side O-ring (33) being capable of moving in the axial direction and being able to come into close contact with the sliding protrusion (323) of the rotary side sliding ring (32) due to the spring (36) so that the airtightly sealed sliding face S is formed. The rotary side sliding ring (32) is made of self-lubrication sliding material, and the stationary side sliding ring (31) is made of sliding material, the Young's modulus of which is higher than that of the self-lubrication sliding material. A deforming force given to the rotary side sliding ring (32) in the leaning direction caused by differential pressure between the high gas pressure and the atmospheric pressure outside the device is canceled by a deforming force caused by a component in the axial direction of the differential pressure acting on the annular step section (21) of the rotary shaft (2) in the pressing direction.

On the inner circumferential surface of the seal cover 8 provided with the discharge hole 14, a baffle member 18 is provided so that it protrudes radially inward in order to block the flow of the sealed fluid along the rotating direction of a retainer 52 and orient the sealed fluid toward the discharge hole 14.

    摘要: A pair of primary and secondary mechanical seals are arranged tandem in an axial direction around a rotating shaft in a space between the rotating shaft and a housing having a shaft sealing part. The center or intermediate liquid is sealed into a center room or intermediate chamber between both mechanical seals. The center liquid has an amount that is less than the volume of the center room and enough to soak one part of rotating elements of the secondary mechanical seal. The gas vent line is provided with the housing of the shaft sealing part. The gas vent line faces and opens to the center room. The baffle plate is provided with the housing of the shaft sealing part. The baffle plate intersects a circumferential direction of the center room. Thus, when rotating the rotating shaft, the center liquid is stirred and scattered by collision with the baffle plate to lubricate the sealed slide surface. The vaporized gas from the sealed liquid, which is leaked from the primary mechanical seal to the center room, does not collect in the inner circumferential part of the center room. It does not form a gas zone. It is discharged from the gas vent line.

    摘要: A mechanical seal device capable of preventing a sealing ability from being lowered by the irregular displacement of the seal surface of a sealing ring and by the deterioration of a packing for sealingly fitting the sealing ring by heat generated due to its slidable contact with the sealing ring. The mechanical seal device comprises the rubberlike elastic material annular packing having a joining face fitted peripheral surface (inner peripheral surface) of a stepped hole and an adhesive face on the inner peripheral side of the joining face and having an insertion tip part at its insertion tip inserted into the fitting peripheral surface and the sealing ring for fixing having a fitting surface joined to the adhesive face of the packing, a rear surface fitted to the support face (bottom face) of the stepped hole, and a seal surface on the opposite side of the rear surface. With the rear surface joined to a support surface, a space part is formed between the insertion tip part and the opposite surface thereto on the support surface side. The packing is inserted into the space part to fit the rear surface onto the support face by the elastic force of the packing.
