摘要： An image-forming machine which has an image-forming unit that moves substantially horizontally between an acting position in a housing and a non-acting position that is drawn out forward. The image-forming unit has a frame having a front wall member and a rear wall member, and a plurality of image-forming devices mounted on the frame. The front wall has a pair of receiving holes arranged at a distance in the transverse direction and the rear wall has a pair of pins located at a distance in the transverse direction. In a preferred embodiment, the housing has a pair of pins located in the front and a pair of receiving holds in the rear such that when the image-forming unit is brought to the acting position, the receiving holes of the front wall engage the front pins of the housing and the pins on the rear wall engage the receiving holes in the rear of the housing. Each of the image-forming devices includes a rotary shaft, a rotary drum mounted on the rotary shaft, and bearing members fitted to both ends of the rotary shaft. The bearing members have a cylindrical outer peripheral surface. Both the front and rear wall members have a mounting plate with mounting notches that are opened upward. The mounting notches have two support edges which, when the bearing members of the image-forming devices are introduced therein from the upper side, support the bearing members. Releasable locking members are also provided to lock the image-forming devices in position.

摘要： A developing device for use in an image forming apparatus includes a developing agent supply unit which supplies a developing agent to a photoreceptor, a first mixing unit provided near the developing agent supply unit to convey the developing agent in a first conveyance direction while mixing the developing agent, a second mixing unit provided underneath the first mixing unit to receive the developing agent at a downstream end along the first conveyance direction so as to supply the developing agent to the developing agent supply unit while mixing and conveying the developing agent in a second conveyance direction, and a developing agent scoop-up unit provided substantially in the middle in a height direction between the first mixing unit and the second mixing unit along the second conveyance direction to receive the developing agent from the second mixing unit and draw up the received developing agent to the first mixing unit.

摘要： A developing device includes a developing roller, toner supplying roller, regulation blade, and casing. The developing roller faces an image carrier on which an electrostatic latent image is to be formed, and supplies toner to the image carrier. The toner supplying roller faces the developing roller, and supplies the toner to the developing roller. The regulation blade faces the toner supplying roller at predetermined distance. The casing houses the developing roller, toner supplying roller, and regulation blade. The casing includes a toner catching support member facing the developing roller or the toner supplying roller between the regulation blade and the image carrier. The developing device further includes a toner catching member, which is arranged along a longitudinal direction of the toner catching support member and catches toner that drops from the developing roller, and a vibration generating portion, which vibrates the toner catching member.

摘要： A vertical solid-liquid contact apparatus, comprising: a plurality of stirring chambers disposed vertically adjacent to each other in series, a plurality of partitioning plates each partitioning an adjacent pair of the stirring chambers and provided with a communicating hole for communication between the adjacent pair of the stirring chambers, and a liquid inlet and a solid inlet provided at an upper part and a lower part of the apparatus. Each stirring chamber has an inner side wall defining the stirring chamber, a radially ejecting stirring blade, and at least one baffle fixed on the inner side wall so as to extend vertically. The stirring blade and the baffle are positionally biased to a lower side of the stirring chamber. The apparatus exhibits a good uniformity of solid-liquid flows and a high contact efficiency, is also simple in structure and allows easy scale-up. The apparatus can be widely applied to unit operations in the chemical industry. The apparatus exhibits a particularly good solid-liquid contact efficiency when operated in the neighborhood of its maximum load.
