The apparatus body includes a main body frame, a plurality of conveyance units being detachably attached to the main body frame through the opening portion, a control board configured to control the plurality of conveyance units, and a relay board configured to be electrically connected to the control board. The plurality of conveyance units respectively include a plurality of first connectors. The relay board includes a plurality of second connectors that are arranged to face the opening portion and that are configured to be connected to the plurality of first connectors, the relay board being arranged at a position not interfering with attachment/detachment loci in which the plurality of conveyance units are attached to and detached from the main body frame.

The frame member defines a plurality of concave portions to accommodate respective lower end portions of the toner containers, and includes an upper frame portion located to cover a top surface of an intermediate transfer belt. One concave portion among the plurality of the concave portions defined by a wall portion defines a vent hole. The upper frame portion defines a ventilation path located at an opposite side of the one concave portion with respect to the wall portion and communicating with the one concave portion via the vent hole. The image forming apparatus further includes a blast fan to discharge air in the ventilation path from the vent hole to a side of the one concave portion.

摘要： In a system having an inkjet printer and a toner printer, the ink jet printer forms an ink jet image and the toner printer forms a toner image conforming to the inkjet image and transfers the toner image onto the inkjet image. Colorant in the ink is electrostatically attracted to the toner. The toner is fixed. After fixing the colorant attracted to the toner is bound to the toner so that removal of the toner from the receiver also removes any colorant attached to the toner from the receiver.
