摘要: A printing apparatus is disclosed which moves a print head of a printing mechanism to a relocation position on receiving a relocation command signal. On receiving a relocation command signal, a searching means retrieves a code data of a character or the like other than a space code in sequence from an end address toward a head address of a correction memory. Then, when the searching means detects code data of the character or the like, a controlling means relocates the print head at the print position which is shifted by one digit in the printing direction from the position corresponding to the address of the code data detected by the searching means.

摘要: An image processing method includes steps of acquiring a first two-dimensional parallelogram image, creating a second two-dimensional parallelogram image by dividing the first image into two figures by a line along a predetermined scanning direction and joining together respective sides of the two figures corresponding to an upper base and a lower base of the first image, calculating a value w representing a numerical number of pixels constituting an upper base or a lower base of the second image and a value h representing a numerical number of pixels in a height direction of the second image, securing a w×h two-dimensional memory space, writing pixel values on each scanning line of the second image, sequentially in a scanning order, onto a corresponding scanning line of the two-dimensional memory space, and storing supplementary information of the second image in association with the two-dimensional memory space.

摘要: A controller for a printing device may include a data file selecting unit, an index printing data generating unit, and a providing unit. The data file selecting unit may sequentially select a data file. The index printing data generating unit may generate index printing data by sequentially storing a set of printing data in the memory, wherein the set of printing data defines an image described by the sequentially selected data file. The providing unit may provide the index printing data to a print performing unit. In a case where the index printing data generating unit cannot process a particular data file due to a shortage of remaining capacity in the memory when first index printing data is generated, the index printing data generating unit may postpone processing of the particular data file. The data file selecting unit may select the particular data file when second index printing data is generated.

摘要: Category determination is performed on an object candidate extracted from a captured image after an exclusion process is performed in advance. In the exclusion process, a distance from a vehicle to the object candidate is calculated based on a size of the object candidate in a current image, a moved distance of the vehicle occurring in a time interval from a time a previous image was captured to a time the current image is captured is calculated, the size of the object candidate in the current image is decreased at a change ratio based on the distance to the object candidate and the moved distance, and a size of the object candidate in the previous image and a size of the object candidate decreased at the change ratio are compared. The object candidate with difference between them being determined to be larger than a predetermined value is removed.

摘要: A vehicle periphery monitoring device is operable to recognize with high accuracy whether or not an object is a designated quadruped animal. According to the vehicle periphery monitoring device, for determining whether or not a first object region and a second object region correspond to the designated quadruped animal according to whether or not the aspect ratio of the first object region is equal to or greater 1, a plurality of the second object regions are extracted, and it is determined whether the ratio of the vertical dimension of the second object region to the vertical dimension of the first object region lies within the range of the ratio of the leg vertical dimension to the torso vertical dimension of a common designated quadruped animal.

摘要: A measuring device is arranged to store a block or group of a plurality of objects in a state where the objects are congested in the block, to suppress the scattering magnification of the objects when the objects are dropped off to prevent failures such as seal bite in a filling device disposed below the measuring device, to shorten the dropping length of the objects, and to reduce the contact resistance of the objects to a receiving opening of the filling device during the objects are dropped off to attain the discharging speed of the objects. The shapes and opening degrees of a gate unit can be changed so that a lower opening of a hopper is disposed inside the receiving opening of the filling device in a top plan view.

摘要: A passive safety device for vehicles to ensure the characteristics of a power source for a drive circuit and further simplify circuitry and reduce costs is provided. An airbag device includes a battery, a voltage converter, a backup power source, a FET driver circuit, a FET, and a power source for the FET driver circuit. The driver circuit power source includes capacitors, the capacitance of which are so set that, when the output voltage is interrupted, the voltage of the driver circuit power source more gently drops than that of the backup power source 4, making it unnecessary to use a charge pump circuit.
