    摘要: A copying machine which takes copies of a draft sheet by slit exposure while it is being conveyed. This copying machine includes a draft correction apparatus. This draft correction apparatus is provided with holding bars attached to a copying machine body so as to turn round the center line of a convey way for the draft, a pair of curved guide plates leaving therebetween a distance sufficient for forming a curved convey way constituting a part of said convey way, at least a pair of solenoids which are attached to the copying machine body on both sides of the draft convey way for turning said holding bars, draft sensors which are provided corresponding to said solenoids on both sides of the center line of the draft convey way this side of the solenoids, and a control means which inputs detection signals from the draft sensors and outputs working signals corresponding thereto against solenoids.

    摘要: An image processing method and system in which an original image is read line by line by means of a plurality of image sensors to produce image data segments corresponding to respective segments of a line read by each of the image sensors. The image data segments produced by the image sensors are processed to produce a second plurality of image data segments, which are subsequently subjected to a predetermined image processing operation. The second plurality of image data segments are combined, either before or after being subjected to image processing, into a line of image data for each original image line. The optical processing performed on the second plurality of image segments is typically magnification or minification, and is performed by storing the second plurality of image segments in a memory and controlling the clock and the address of the memory by means of selective magnification data stored in another memory, wherein the magnification data are selected in accordance with the desired magnification or minification.

    摘要: A non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprises at least a negative electrode, a positive electrode and a non-aqueous electrolyte. The negative electrode has an active material comprised of silicon or a silicon alloy containing lithium represented by composition formula Li.sub.x Si where x satisfies 0.ltoreq..times..ltoreq.5. The positive electrode has an active material comprised of a transition metal oxide. The non-aqueous electrolyte is a lithium ion-conductive non-aqueous electrolyte having at least one lithium compound comprised of one of an organic solvent and a solid polymer. The negative electrode active material is formed by absorption of lithium ions into the silicon resulting from an electrochemical reaction between the negative electrode and a lithium metal and/or a material containing lithium. A secondary battery having high voltage, high energy density, high reliability, improved current charge and discharge characteristics and a long cycle life is obtained.

    摘要: In an electrophotographic copier, while a document is transported toward a predetermined position on a glass platen, its lateral dislocation and skew with respect to a document transport path as well as an amount of the dislocation and a direction of the skew are commonly sensed by a single sensor. The single sensor is positioned adjacent to one of laterally opposite ends of the transport path and has sensing surface of a predetermined area.
