摘要: A four-stroke-cycle engine of a motorcycle arranged between front and rear wheels thereof has a crank case in which a crank shaft is arranged and a plurality of cylinder assemblies operatively connected to the crank shaft and includes a front-side cylinder assembly and a rear-side cylinder assembly along a longitudinal direction of a motorcycle body. Each of the cylinder assemblies is composed of a cylinder block, a cylinder head mounted to a head portion of the cylinder block and a head cover covering the cylinder head. The cylinder assemblies are arranged so as to provide V-shapes along the longitudinal direction of the motorcycle body. A mating surface formed between the head cover and the cylinder head of at least the front-side cylinder assembly of the plural cylinder assemblies has an inclination obliquely downward towards the front wheel with respect to a mating surface formed between the cylinder head and the cylinder block of the front-side cylinder assembly.

摘要: Methods and compositions are provided for introducing an expression cassette into a cell. In the subject methods, a population of at least two distinct adeno-associated viral particles is provided, where each distinct type of viral particle in the population comprises a different portion of the expression cassette to be introduced into the cell. The target cell is contacted with population of adeno-associated viral vectors under conditions sufficient to produce a hetero-concatemer in the cell, where the hetero-concatemer includes a functional expression cassette having an intron that includes an ITR sequence. Also provided by the subject invention are vector preparations for practicing the subject methods as well as kits for use in producing the vectors employed in the subject methods. The subject methods find use in a variety of different gene transfer applications, including both in vivo and in vitro gene transfer applications, and are particularly suited for use in the transfer of long genes.

摘要: A restorative dental material is disclosed which comprises a metal casting with an electroplated tin coat containing polymer particles being formed thereon. Such restorative material can be obtained by electroplating the bonding surface of the metal casting using a plating bath containing Sn.sup.++ with polymer particles dispersed therein. An adhesive containing an acid group-containing polymerizable monomer as an adhesive component is applied to the bonding surface having the tin plating layer containing polymer particles and the material is firmly fixed to one or more teeth or other prosthetic appliances.
