    摘要: A filtering circuit separates from the composite color television signal both the luminance and chrominance signals that includes a delay circuit for delaying the composite color video signal. A first filter is also provided which is responsive to the video signal and the delayed video signal and extracts a chrominance signal corresponding to a frequency component of a color subcarrier in a vertical direction. A second filter is used which is responsive to at least the delayed video signal and extracts a chrominance signal corresponding to a frequency component of the color subcarrier in a horizontal direction. Lastly, a third filter is utilized which is responsive to the video signal and the delayed video signal and extracts a chrominance signal corresponding to a frequency component of the color subcarrier in both the vertical and horizontal direction. This filter circuit then determines, in response to the video signal and the delayed video signal, a correlation in a televised picture in the vertical and horizontal directions, respectively. In accordance with this determination, a switching circuit selects one of the chrominance signals extracted, respectively, by the first to third filters as an output.

    摘要: A filter is used for separating luminance and color signals from a composite color television signal in which the frequency of the color signal is multiplexed over the high-frequency region of the luminance signal. When a picture is detected with respect to its motion under frame correlation, and if that motion is relatively small, the separation of luminance and color signals is performed based on interframe correlation. If the motion is relatively large, the separation of luminance and color signals is made based on interfield correlation. The luminance and color signal separation based on the interfield correlation is attained from a correlation with signals in fields spaced forwardly and rearwardly away from the subject field by one field. This is accomplished by selecting a calculation having the highest among a plurality of calculations for an objective sample point and a plurality of sample points located about the objective sample point. Such a correlation is determined by checking the correlation of image signals in the set of sample points which are spaced apart from one another by one frame and located around the objective sample point.

    摘要: A motion-adaptive scanning-line conversion circuit which converts part or the entirety of a first video signal into a second video signal. The circuit includes a data reducing circuit, such as a low pass filter and a decimator, which lowers the sampling frequency of the first video signal to reduce the amount of data in the first video signal. The conversion circuit can also include a detection circuit which detects the vertical edge of a stationary part of a picture represented by the reduced first video signal, and a motion detection circuit which determines the amount of motion of the pixels in the reduced first video signal. Based upon the detection of a vertical edge, a selection circuit selects between an output of an inter-field scanning-line conversion circuit and an intra-field scanning-line conversion circuit operating on the reduced first video signal and the first video signal, respectively.

    摘要: A filter is used for separating luminance and color signals from a composite color television signal in which the frequency of the color signal is multiplexed over the high-frequency region of the luminance signal. When a picture is detected with respect to its motion under frame correlation and if that motion is relatively small, the separation of luminance and color signals is performed based on the interframe correlation. If the motion is relatively large, the separation of luminance and color signals is made based on the interfield correlation. The luminance and color signal separation based on the interfield correlation is attained from a correlation with signals in a field spaced forwardly away from the subject field by one field.     摘要: Motion-adaptive chrominance-luminance separation of a composite video signal is accomplished by comb-filtering the video signal on the time axis, bandpass-filtering the video signal on at least one spatial axis selected according to spatial correlation detected in the video signal, and combining the two filtered results in proportion to motion detected in the video signal. Motion is detected in part by obtaining a one-frame difference signal that has been filtered to eliminate chrominance information; here too the filtering is performed on at least one spatial axis selected according to spatial correlation. Selecting the spatial filtering axes according to spatial correlation enables chrominance and luminance to be separated effectively without unnecessary information loss.
