摘要： This invention relates to a method of controlling the lifting of bottom sections of lying furniture such as a bed. It is a method of controlling the lifting of bottom sections of lying furniture such as a bed that has a back bottom section for lifting the back portion of a lying person and a knee bottom section for lifting his/her knee portion, in which the respective bottom sections can be lifted by the lifting mechanisms respectively provided for them, characterized in that in the case where all the bottom sections are lowered to lie flat from a state where the back bottom section is kept inclined after having been pivotally rotated and lifted, at first the lifting of the knee bottom section is started, and at a time instant adequately later than the lifting start time instant, the lowering of the back bottom section is started; thereafter the lowering of the back bottom section is continued, while the knee bottom section is lifted to the preset highest position and then is lowered to reach its lower limit position of lying flat at a time instant adequately later than the time instant when the back bottom section is lowered to its lower limit position of lying flat.

摘要： A coordinative control method for adjusting the back and knee bottom sections of an adjustable bed or the like, and a computer program for implementing the method, are provided. Specifically, a method for adjusting the back and knee bottom section is provided, in which the angular positions thereof are adjusted according to a preset action pattern. The initial starting positions of the adjustable sections are taken into account, and adjusted to a position corresponding to the closest point on a curve representing angular movement of the sections during the adjustment process. Then, the sections are adjusted in a manner that prevents exertion of uncomfortable pressure upon the torso of a user, and prevents sliding of a user relative to the foot of the bed.

In particular, the control system of the present invention provides a means of adjusting the angular positions of adjustable bottom sections of the bed to predetermined final positions via preset bottom coordinative action patterns carried out by a controller means. The preset bottom coordinative action patterns raise and lower adjustable back and knee bottom sections of the bed in a coordinated manner, so as to adjust the bottom sections of the bed to the chosen angular positions without causing the user to slide relative to the bed, and without exerting uncomfortable abdominal pressure on the user.

This reliably prevents a carereceiver from slipping, regardless of subjective judgment by an operator or a carer, at the time of performing a back lift-up operation and back lift-down operation of an electric bed. It is therefore possible to prevent pressure from being applied onto the abdominal region and chest region of the carereceiver, thus relieving the carereceiver and carer of the burden.
