    摘要: A simulation method for imaging of an underwater object is performed by simulating the object with a test panel having several strips of different brightness, and irradiating the test panel with a pulsed laser beam having three primary colors. From the reflected beam pulses, contrast values of the test stripes are computed for reflected pulses of each color in relation to the turbidity and visibility distance. The method may be used in conjunction with an imaging apparatus having a laser generation device which produces three primary colors of three different wavelengths; a laser beam detection device to receive the reflected beam pulses of respective primary colors, to determine intensities of the reflected beam pulses of respective primary colors, and to output three primary color signals to an image monitoring device. The imaging system may also be arranged so that a laser irradiation device, a laser beam detection device and an image monitoring device are all placed underwater in a submersible vessel with appropriate provisions for hydrostatic pressure and unmanned operation.

    摘要: A process for preparing ground resin particles is provided by modifying a jet mill with opposed fluidized bed. By using a jet mill having a plurality of jet nozzles disposed at predetermined positions in a barrel of a grinding chamber toward the injection point of the grinding chamber and a bottom wall having a flat surface in part or in whole, parallel to the jet nozzles, or having a conical projection immediately below the injection point, resin particles to be ground are jetted with or without water, thereby being ground to obtain ground resin particles of an intended particle size.

    摘要: An unmanned drifting substance monitoring buoy (10) is thrown into a water area where a drifting substance is present, thereby tracking and monitoring the drifting substance. The unmanned drifting substance monitoring buoy (10) detects, by a detecting section, a relative location of the drifting substance on the water surface with respect to the unmanned drifting substance monitoring buoy (10), and measures, by a measuring section, directions and strengths of a wind and a tidal current. Then, the unmanned drifting substance monitoring buoy (10) tracks the drifting substance by adjusting, based on the relative location of the drifting substance detected by the detecting section and on the directions and the strengths of the wind and the tidal current measured by the measuring section, a surface area and a direction of a sail (13) by an adjusting section. This achieves an unmanned drifting substance monitoring buoy capable of tracking a drifting substance with small energy even when not only a tidal current but also a flow caused by a wind at the sea surface is large.
