    摘要: A process for recovering heavy metal ions or heavy metal ions and halogen values from a solution comprising a lower aliphatic monocarboxylic acid, which comprises the steps of:(1) contacting a lower aliphatic carboxylic acid solution containing heavy metal ions or heavy metal ions and halogen values with an anion exchange resin, at least 60% of the ion-exchange groups of said anion exchange resin being in the bromide or chloride state, while the water concentration in the lower aliphatic monocarboxylic acid solution has been adjusted to a level lower than 20% by weight, thereby to adsorb the heavy metal ions or the heavy metal ions and the halogen values on the anion exchange resin; and(2) desorbing the adsorbed heavy metal ions or the adsorbed heavy metal ions and the adsorbed halogen values from the anion exchange resin by elution with an eluent. In the present invention, the halogen values remaining in the lower aliphatic monocarboxylic acid solution which has been contacted with the anion exchange resin can be further recovered by contacting the solution with another anion exchange resin or subjecting the solution to distillation.

    摘要: This invention relates to an improved process for recovering highly pure terephthalic acid crystals from a suspension containing terephthalic acid product obtained by the liquid phase oxidation of para-substituted aromatic compounds in the presence of oxidizing catalyst. The improvement comprises bringing said suspension into continuous countercurrent contact with ascending hot acetic acid containing water in a single tower under the conditions of specified temperature, specified ascending rate of the acetic acid containing water and specified residence time of the suspension, to replace the mother liquor of the suspension with said acetic acid, and recovering the mother liquor as an overflow, while recovering terephthalic acid as an underflow in the form of suspension of highly purified crystals and, if necessary, allowing the suspension to stay in a stirring tank.

    摘要: An improved process for the production of a high purity terephthalic acid by a liquid phase oxidation reaction of para-xylene by means of molecular oxygen or a molecular oxygen-containing gas in an aliphatic monocarboxylic acid solvent in the presence of a cobalt-manganese-bromine catalyst system, characterized in that as the cobalt-manganese-bromine catalyst system there is used a catalyst system of a specific composition at a specific concentration, and the liquid phase oxidation reaction is effected in the presence of acetaldehyde in addition to the cobalt-manganese-bromine catalyst system under relatively mild temperature (170.degree.-190.degree. C.) and pressure conditions while maintaining the water concentration in the reaction system at a specified low level. The terephthalic acid produced according to the process of the present invention is of so high a quality that it can be used for the direct production of a polyalkylene terephthalate from the acid and an alkylene glycol or ethylene oxide, which direct production does not need the preparation of an intermediate such as a methyl ester of terephthalic acid.

    摘要: A process for producing water-insoluble substances derived from fishes and shellfishes, includes the treating of the waste of fishes and shellfishes containing the substances with proteolytic enzymes under stirring to obtain an oil-in-water (O/W) type emulsified composition. This composition contains water-soluble amino-acids, oligoproteins having a molecular weight of not greater than 30,000, water-soluble minerals, water-insoluble highly unsaturated fatty acids and proteins (solid matter) having a molecular weight of 20,000 to 100,000, with 50% or more of all the proteins in said emulsified composition having a molecular weight of 20,000 to 100,000. Thereafter the emulsified composition is separated into solid and liquid phases, and the obtained solid composition containing proteins with a molecular weight of 20,000 to 100,000 and fats and oils is extracted with an organic solvent.

    摘要: An adsorptive separation method capable of effectively separating the desired component from a mixture containing the same at a high purity and a high recovery ratio, and easily coping with scale-up of the apparatus is disclosed. This method comprises alternately supplying a starting mixture A comprising a plurality of substances and a desorbent into a column packed with an adsorbent, treating to form and move an adsorption band of the starting mixture A and recovering the intended component at a purity higher than the aimed purity from an eluate, wherein after the entire amount of the intended component passing through the column is increased over the amount of the intended component in the starting mixture A and the intended component is separated and recovered, the portion B which is at least a part of the remaining intended component-containing portion, and in which the desorbent is separated and removed to a concentration lower than the desorbent concentration in the starting mixture A and the intended component is contained at a concentration higher than the concentration of the intended component in the starting mixture A is mixed with the starting material A and supplied to the column or said portion B and the starting mixture A are supplied to the column one by one, and then, the desorbent is supplied successively.
