摘要： An electrical terminal is for use in an automotive wire harness connector. The electrical terminal has a conductor crimping portion for crimping the conductor of an electrical wire and a stabilizer which crimps the insulation coating of the electrical wire and prevents rolling of the electrical terminal. The stabilizer has a bottom plate which is partly cut to form an aperture, the portions of the bottom plate defining both ends of the aperture being bent and raised inward so as to enhance the crimping force on the insulation coating of the electrical wire.

摘要： An object of the present invention is to provide a housing block retaining construction which allows a release tool to be easily operated, and will not interfere with the withdrawal of a housing block. According to the present invention, there is provided that a housing block retaining construction comprises a retaining lance slanting in the insertion direction provided in an insertion opening of a housing holder, a notch in which a distal end of a release tool is engageable formed in a distal end of the retaining lance, a retaining projection for engagement with the retaining lance provided on a housing block, and a recess for allowing the release tool to pass therethrough formed in that portion of the retaining projection corresponding to the notch.

A guide projection 16 to which the top plate portion 8 is adapted to be fitted is formed on an end wall 14a of the terminal receiving chamber 13 of the connector housing 2. The deformation of connection terminals attached to a connector housing can be prevented, thereby enabling a smooth, positive connection of the printed circuit board.

摘要： A pair of electrical connectors for releasably connecting a first terminal with a second terminal, comprises: a first connector having a first terminal; a second connector having the second terminal; a manual lever having a base end so mounted on the first connector as to be rotatable in a plane parallel to an insertion direction of the first connector into the second connector, and a free end; an engaging arm provided with a base end rotatably mounted on an intermediate portion of the lever and a free end formed into an engaging portion; engaging means including a hook for catching the engaging portion of the arm, an abutting portion on which the engaging portion of the arm abuts, the hook and abutting portion being provided in the second connector as to be releasably engaged with the engaging portion of the arm. In a preferred embodiment, the connectors further include a spring member for biasing these connectors during connection so as to be separated from each other in the insertion direction described above.

摘要： A packing plug assembly to be used in a connector housing to provide a seal therewithin. The assembly is composed of a resilient plug body and one or more rigid members. The resilient plug body is formed with a through hole therein to receive an insulated wire therein whereas the remaining portion of the resilient plug body is penetrated by the reinforcing members. The leading end of the wire is attached with a terminal which is securely pressed into the connector by means of rigid reinforcing member penetrating the resilient plug body to assure latching engagement therein when the plug assembly is press fitted into the connector. Such press fitting may be done by use of a rear holder adapted to be pushed into the connector after the resilient plug body.

摘要： A double-lock connector includes a connector housing having terminal receiving chambers, metal terminals for being inserted respectively into the terminal receiving chambers, and a terminal retainer connectable to a rear end portion of the connector housing in a two-stage manner, that is, in a provisionally-connected condition and a completely-connected condition, wherein even when the terminal retainer in the provisionally-connected condition, the metal terminal can be smoothly inserted into the connector housing. The double-lock connector of the present invention includes a connector housing and a terminal retainer for being inserted into the connector housing. The connector housing has a plurality of terminal receiving chambers which are separated from one another by a horizontal partition wall and a vertical partition wall. An elastic retaining piece is provided within each of the terminal receiving chambers. A rearwardly-extending tongue-like terminal guide piece is formed on the horizontal partition wall, separating the upper and lower terminal receiving chambers from each other, and is disposed centrally with the width of each terminal receiving chamber. A front end of the terminal guide piece is extended substantially to an inlet end of the connector housing.
