摘要： Stable, aqueous compositions for treating surfaces, especially fabrics, comprise: a relatively low molecular weight polyalkyleneoxide polysiloxane surfactant; a buffering agent to maintain the pH of the composition in the range of from about 4 to about 10, preferably from about 5 to about 9.5, and more preferably from about 6 to about 9; and an aqueous carrier. The compositions can further comprise catoinic surfactants to further enhance the spreading and/or fabric penetration ability of the compositions. The compositions can further comprise a variety of other optional ingredients. Methods of treating surfaces include methods wherein the compositions are contacted with surfaces, especially fabrics, to reduce malodor impression on the surfaces and/or reduce the appearance of wrinkles in fabrics.

摘要： A method of deodorizing and/or reducing malodor in carpet comprises the step of contacting the carpet with a deodorizing composition comprising an effective amount of odor control agent. In a preferred embodiment, the deodorizing composition is a concentrated composition and the method comprises diluting the concentrated deodorizing composition to form a diluted deodorizing composition and using the diluted deodorizing composition in combination with a carpet extractor to deodorize the carpet. An article of manufacture for deodorizing carpet comprises a container, a deodorizing composition in the container, and a set of instructions in association with the container to communicate the benefits of the present methods and the uses of the present compositions.

摘要： The present invention relates to a method of removing malodor from fabrics; stable, aqueous odor-counteractant composition, preferably for use in the laundry; and articles comprising said composition and instructions for the method and/or benefits to be derived. The composition comprises malodor counteractants such as cyclodextrin, said cyclodextrin being protected from interaction with any other materials that might be present in said composition so as to maintain the cyclodextrin in uncomplexed form and/or, optionally, zeolites, clay, odor blockers, odor reactant such as class I and/or class II aldehydes, essential oil comprising flavanoid, metallic salt, water soluble anionic polymer, etc. to help control odor. Optionally, the composition can also contain low molecular weight polyols, chelating agents, etc. The composition is preferably essentially free of any material that would soil or stain fabric.

摘要： A process of manufacturing a composition suitable for capturing unwanted molecules comprising the steps of: (a) providing cyclodextrin, a cyclodextrin-compatible material, and a cyclodextrin-incompatible material; (b) combining said cyclodextrin-compatible material and said cyclodextrin-incompatible material to form a first mixture; and (c) subsequently combining said cyclodextrin with said first mixture to form said composition suitable for capturing unwanted molecules. The resulting stable composition for removing unwanted molecules from a surface comprises functionally-available cyclodextrin and cyclodextrin-incompatible material.

摘要： The present invention relates to a stable, aqueous wrinkle controlling and, optionally, odor-absorbing, composition, preferably for use on fabric. The composition preferably comprises fabric lubricant, shape retention polymer, lithium salts, and/or plasticizers for wrinkle control and, optionally, from about 0.1% to about 20%, by weight of the composition, of solubilized, water-soluble, uncomplexed cyclodextrin. Optionally, the composition can contain low molecular weight polyols; metallic salts to help control odor; nonionic surfactants to improve performance and formulatability, a humectant, etc. The composition is essentially free of any material that would soil or stain fabric. The composition is preferably applied as small particle size droplets, especially from spray containers which preferably are in association with instructions for use, especially when the composition comprises only water and perfume.
