摘要: [The present invention] improves the user-friendliness of a software distribution management system that uses representative clients. The computer system according to the present invention comprises a plurality of clients, a server computer that includes software to be distributed to one or more of the plurality of the clients, and a network for coupling the server computer to the plurality of client computers. Based on information from the plurality of clients, the server computer classifies the plurality of clients into a plurality of groups, selects a representative client for each group, and executes distribution of the software to the representative clients. The representative clients that have received the software distribution distribute the software to the other clients belonging to the same group. The server computer outputs management display information to a management screen on the basis of software distribution management information. Note that the distribution of software from the server computer to the representative clients may also be performed in advance.

摘要: When the application I/O performance problem is solved, the I/O amount from the application is increased. In the conventional technique, no consideration has been taken on the affect of the increase of the application I/O performance to other applications. A resource whose I/O load is reduced by setting modification of a storage subsystem is specified and the application using this resource is specified as an application whose I/O processing amount may be increased. Furthermore, the resource used by the specified application and another application using this resource are specified as a resource and an application whose I/O processing performance may be lowered by the setting modification.

摘要: An insulator (100) wherein a funnel portion (120) has a conical inner peripheral surface (121) of an inner diameter increasing in a direction away from a body (101). A male terminal (second terminal) (161) is inserted into the insulator (100) from the funnel portion (120) to mate with a female terminal (first terminal) (151) housed in the insulator (100), and a jig (170) is prevented from interfering with an edge of the funnel portion (120) of the insulator (100) as the male terminal (161) is securely pushed into the female terminal (151), thereby preventing connection failure between the first and second terminals. If the path of insertion of the male terminal (161) is shifted so that the male terminal (161) abuts against the inner peripheral surface (121), the path is corrected along the slope of the inner peripheral surface (121), facilitating the insertion of the male terminal (161).

摘要: This invention is to provide a multipole connecting terminal which can join a plurality of electric cables in the same direction. The multipole connecting terminal comprises first and second terminal connecting portions 40a and 40b formed on the opposite sides of a first strip piece 21A of a metal plate 20 and third and fourth terminal connecting portions 40c and 40d formed on a second strip piece 21B bent toward the reverse side of the first strip piece 21A. The portions 40a, 40b, 40c, and 40d have openings in the same direction. It is possible to join each of male terminals 70 attached to each of electric cables 60 to each of the terminal connecting portions 40a through 40d while maintaining the cables 60 in a straight position without turning the cables 60. A connecting work of the male 70 becomes easy since the electric cables 60 are not turned around the multipole connecting terminal.

摘要: An inflator includes in a combustion chamber a first gas generating charge and a second gas generating charge to be ignited and burned to generate an inflation gas. The second gas generating charge is slower in speed of combustion than the first gas generating charge. The inflator further includes a partition wall that segregates the first and second gas generating charges. The partition wall is located away from an ignition area of an ignition device that ignites the first gas generating charge, with the first gas generating charge located between itself and the ignition area. The partition wall is burnable to destruction by the fire generated by combustion of the first gas generating charge so as to permit propagation of the fire to the second gas generating charge by its generally entire area.

摘要: A wire harness grommet has a funnel-like shape having a wire-passing tubular portion of a small diameter, and a partition wall-mounting portion extending from the tubular portion. The bonding between a filler layer, which is provided in a hollow portion of the funnel-shaped portion, and an inner wall surface is enhanced to thereby prevent the separation of the filler layer. Removal of the grommet from a mold can be effected satisfactorily. The inner wall surface is in the form of tiling in which flat plateaus are densely arranged and spaced from one another by joint grooves, so that the inner wall surface serves as a separation prevention surface.
