    摘要: Described herein are resin materials used for a member for an image forming apparatus. These resin materials can include a polymer formed by polymerization of at least one acrylic resin having (i) a content ratio (molar ratio) of hydroxyl groups of side chains each containing 10 or more carbon atoms to hydroxyl groups of side chains each containing less than 10 carbon atoms that is less than 1/3; (ii) at least one polyol that contains plural hydroxyl groups in which all the hydroxyl groups are connected together through a chain containing 6 or more carbon atoms; and (iii) an isocyanate. The resin material can further include a polymerization ratio of about 0.1 or more and about 10 or less, the polymerization ratio being a ratio (B/A) of a total molar amount (B) of hydroxyl groups contained in all the polyols used for the polymerization to a total molar amount (A) of hydroxyl groups contained in all the acrylic resins used for the polymerization.

    摘要: An image-forming method including: forming a toner image on the surface of an image carrier; transferring the toner image from the surface of the image carrier onto the image-receiving layer of a belt-shaped intermediate transfer film having the image-receiving layer provided on a surface of a base material; superimposing the intermediate transfer film on a surface of a recording medium such that the toner image contacts the surface of the recording medium; fixing the toner image by application of heat and pressure; forming a laminate by pressure-bonding the superimposed intermediate transfer film onto the recording medium by application of heat and pressure; and peeling the base material off the image-receiving layer at the interface therebetween, so that the entire image-forming surface of the recording medium is covered with the image-receiving layer and so that the image is formed between the recording medium and the image-receiving layer.

    摘要: An image stripping apparatus includes: a stripping roller which strips an image forming material from an image recording medium by contacting the image forming material on the image recording medium; a cleaning roller for removing, from the stripping roller, the image forming material which has been transferred to the stripping roller; and a cleaning blade stripping the image forming material from the cleaning roller. The stripping roller has a surface layer made of a material having affinity and releasability with respect to the image forming material and the image recording medium. Thus, the stripping roller exhibits peelability required for stripping of the image forming material from the image recording medium and releasability required for removal of a transferred image forming material from the stripping roller.

    摘要: The present invention provides an image-forming material which can be removed easily from image-receiving paper while maintaining the fixability to the image-receiving paper; a preparation process thereof, and the image-receiving medium. The image-forming material according to the present invention can be prepared by dispersing an oil phase, which contains an organic solvent, a binding resin, and a releasing agent composed of a hydrophobic resin and/or a wax, in an aqueous phase as oil droplets; removing the solvent from the dispersion; and incorporating the releasing agent by separating the residue from the aqueous phase. The image-forming material according to the present invention contains at least a binding resin and the above-described releasing agent and the releasing agent is contained in an amount of 30 to 90 wt % in solid content.
