    摘要: A display capable of suppressing curing failure of a resin layer on a backside of a light shielding layer and a method of manufacturing the display are provided. Light L is applied from a side surface 30B side of a transparent substrate 30 and is allowed to enter the transparent substrate 30 from the side surface 30B or in the vicinity thereof to be guided through the transparent substrate 30. An intermediate layer 40 that has a refractive index lower than a refractive index of the transparent substrate 30 in a wavelength range of the light L is provided on a front surface 30A of the transparent substrate 30 to totally reflect the light L. On a back surface 30C of the transparent substrate 30, a refractive index of the resin 21 before and after curing is higher than the refractive index of the transparent substrate 30 in the wavelength range of he light L, and thus the light L enters the resin 21 to cure the resin 21, and the resin layer 20 is accordingly formed. Curing failure of the resin layer 20 on the backside of a light shielding layer 50 is suppressed, and leakage of liquid of uncured resin, frame-like display unevenness in a non-display region B and in the vicinity thereof, and the like are suppressed.
