摘要: An intraoral scanning device comprises housing comprising a head configured for insertion into a patient oral cavity, the head comprising a sloped surface and an aperture for transmission of optical signals, a transparent element positioned within the aperture, wherein the transparent element is at an acute angle with respect to the sloped surface, and a defogging unit comprising a heating unit. The intraoral scanning device further comprises a protective sleeve configured to cover at least a part of the head when the protective sleeve is coupled to the housing. The protective sleeve comprises an additional aperture that aligns with the aperture and an additional transparent element in the additional aperture. A gap separates the additional transparent element from the transparent element when the protective sleeve is coupled to the housing, and heat generated by the heating unit is transferred from the heating unit to the additional transparent element despite the gap that separates the additional transparent element from the transparent element.

摘要: An assembly of a vaginal speculum and a reusable electric device. The vaginal speculum can be introduced into the vagina. A speculum housing has at least one spoon blade with an opened and closed state near a distal end. The spoon blade is operated by an operating device that is guided by and slides in the housing. The reusable electric device comprises a housing with an aperture and including a camera module near a distal end of the housing and a wireless communication module near a proximal end of the housing. The vaginal speculum and the reusable electric device share a connection system for releasably connecting the reusable electric device to the vaginal speculum. The connection system is formed on the operating device.

摘要: An imaging device (010, 10, 110) comprises a first optical system (020, 20, 120) at a distal end of the imaging device, a second optical system (080, 80, 180) towards the proximal end of the imaging device, and a sensor (074, 74, 174) at the proximal end of the imaging device. The first and second optical systems and the sensor are aligned along a common longitudinal axis. The first optical system is or comprises one or more reflective and/or refractive optical components (24, 124; 22, 122) symmetrically and/or coaxially arranged with respect to the longitudinal axis, and the second optical system comprises one or more reflective and/or refractive optical components (24, 124; 22, 122) for focussing incident light towards the sensor. A calibration system (200) and method for calibrating such an imaging device, and a method of processing image data obtained from such an imaging device are also provided.

摘要: An endoscope includes a lens unit, a diaphragm for brightness adjustment, a diaphragm for type determination and an image pickup device. The diaphragm for type determination has an image formation portion an image of which is formed in a light receiving section, a position and a number of the image formation portion provided for the diaphragm for type determination differing according to a plurality of adapters. The endoscope further includes a CPU that determines a type of an adapter by determining a position and a number of the image formation portion an image of which is formed in the light receiving section.
