    摘要: An electric discharge machining apparatus of the travelling wire or sink type includes at least one secondary electrode which is immersed in the dielectric at least during machining. A microvoltage power supply is used to create a micropotential difference between the workpiece and the secondary electrode so that the workpiece becomes a negative pole. Maintaining this arrangement both during machining and non-machining times prevents the workpiece from being subjected to positive-pole oxidation.

Machining productivity may be raised for nozzle contact machining and nozzle separation machining.

It is possible to disperse the wear of the wire electrode 1 and improve the machining rate and machining accuracy. Further, it is possible to improve the reliability and suppress an increase in cost.

    摘要: An electrical discharge machine equipped with a machining gap voltage application circuit having switching circuits capable of switching between a first voltage application state wherein one terminal of a first direct-current power supply is connected to an electrode and the other terminal thereof is connected to a workpiece and a first voltage is applied to the gap, a second voltage application state wherein the one terminal is connected to the workpiece and the other terminal is connected to the electrode and a second voltage is applied to the gap, and a second voltage application reset state where the second voltage is not applied to the gap. The switching circuits are operative during a first period of time when the second voltage application state and a second voltage application reset state alternate with each other, and a second period of time when the first voltage application state exists, the first and second periods are repeated in a predetermined sequence.

    摘要: An automatic wire feeder of a wire electric discharge machine includes an optical sensor for detecting positional information of a wire electrode in an inserting passage between a feed roller for feeding a wire electrode and an upper wire guide; and a control unit for discriminating a state of vibration or deflection of the wire electrode according to the positional information detected by the optical sensor and also for controlling a feeding and rewinding motion of the feed roller according to a quantity of deflection of the wire electrode. Due to the foregoing, buckling caused by an inserting load in the process of automatic wire connection can be positively detected, and the reliability can be enhanced and further the repetition of connecting the wire again can be reduced.

    摘要: A first cutter 130 (cutting unit) is provided between a color recording unit 120 (the first printing unit) and an overcoat recording unit 140 (the second printing unit). A portion whereon color printing is completed by the color recording unit 120 of a recording paper 200 (printing medium) is cut off by the first cutter 130 and detached. An overcoat recording unit 140 performs an overcoat process on the detached recording paper (printing medium strip). In parallel with this, the color recording unit 120 performs next color printing on the recording paper 200. This makes it possible to reduce a printing time in a printing device including a plurality of printing processes without deteriorating printing quality. Further, an useless paper feeding is eliminated by optimally arranging the color recording unit 120, the first cutter 130, the overcoat recording unit 140, and the second cutter 160, etc. in accordance with a size of a printing area.
