摘要: In addition to storing cassettes (16a) to (16f) that store banknotes that are dispensed when money is normally dispensed, a bait money storing portion (14) is provided that stores bait money serving as an emergency banknote to be dispensed in case of an emergency. When the bait money is requested to be dispensed in case of an emergency, the bait money is forcibly transported from the bait money storing portion (14) to a banknote outlet, with the result that the bait money is dispensed quickly.

摘要: A banknote handling machine for handling banknotes including a windowed banknote that has a window capable of transmitting light formed at a predetermined position comprising: a transport path configured to transport a banknote; a window identification unit configured to judge whether the banknote being transported on the transport path is a windowed banknote; a transport path sensor, which is arranged in the transport path, configured to detect the banknote passing thereon; and a banknote presence/absence detection unit configured to judge a presence or an absence of the banknote associated with a detection signal from the transport path sensor. The banknote presence/absence detection unit performs a detection based on a detection result of the window identification unit.

摘要: A semiconductor wafer to be diced into individual SBDs, HEMTs or MESFETs has a substrate with a main semiconductor region and counter semiconductor region formed on its opposite surfaces. The main semiconductor region is configured to provide the desired semiconductor devices. In order to counterbalance the warping effect of the main semiconductor region on the substrate, as well as to enhance the voltage strength of the devices made from the wafer, the counter semiconductor region is made similar in configuration to the main semiconductor region. The main semiconductor region and counter semiconductor region are arranged in bilateral symmetry as viewed in a cross-sectional plane at right angles with the substrate surfaces.

摘要: A printed note deposit machine, comprises: a user recognition unit identifying a user with an authenticated person; an inlet unit serving as a receiving teller in which printed notes are deposited; a dispensing unit receiving printed notes deposited in the inlet unit to dispense them in sequence; an identifying unit classifying the dispensed printed notes into four categories of authenticated notes, counterfeit notes, unidentifiable notes, and rejected notes, and identified them with the four categories; a temporary money holder temporarily storing the authenticated, counterfeit, and unidentified notes but the rejected ones therein; a plurality of storage cells storing the printed notes after they are temporarily stored in the previous stage; and a rejection unit accumulating the printed notes identified with the rejected notes by the identifying unit to return them to the user. A printed note deposit system, comprises: a plurality of the printed note deposit machines; a database apparatus installed in a central office and receiving transaction data from the memory of each of the printed note deposit machines to accumulate the transaction data; and a trace unit matching the transaction data accumulated in the database apparatus with transaction data on the detected counterfeit or unidentified notes to track down a user of the unauthenticated notes.

摘要: A current detector comprising a current-path conductor in the form of a piece of sheet metal having a slit cut therein for providing a U-shaped path for the flow of current to be detected or measured. A Hall generator is held opposite the current-path conductor so as to be contained in the slit therein, as seen in a direction normal to the sheet-metal current-path conductor, for generating a Hall voltage indicative of the magnitude of the current flowing through the U-shaped current path. A magnetic overlay covers part of the current-path conductor for a higher sensitivity of current detection through enhancement of flux density acting on the Hall generator.
