摘要: Provided is an antenna which includes a plurality of radiating portions which are formed on a substrate and a plurality of dielectric lenses for respectively converting a spherical wave radiated from each radiating portion into a plane wave, wherein the shape of a cross section of each dielectric lens perpendicular to a radiation direction of a beam is formed in a shape which radiates a beam which is narrower in a second direction than in a first direction orthogonal to the second direction, and the plurality of dielectric lenses are arranged side by side in the second direction so that beams radiated from the respective dielectric lenses are synthesized.

摘要: A speed sensor which aligns a normal direction of one patch antenna which is disposed on a mounted board, and an optical axis of a dielectric lens uses a frame for inclining a sensor module, in order to obtain a component cos θ in a traveling direction when the speed sensor is installed on a horizontally vertical surface of an automobile or a railway car. When beams are condensed by using the one patch antenna and the cannonball-shaped dielectric lens, the dielectric lens is inclined and a bottom surface portion of the lens is cut with a plane parallel with a surface of the antenna-mounted board. The one patch antenna is configured by one patch and a GND electrode and the gain center of radiation characteristics is a normal direction of the antenna board. However, the radiation characteristics have a substantially hemisphere surface wave shape.

摘要: A millimeter-wave antenna includes a slit which is provided in a GND conductor formed in a first surface of a circuit board, a horn antenna which is provided with a first opening and a second opening, and an impedance matching device which is provided in a slot shape between the slit and the first opening of the horn antenna. The impedance matching device is formed in the slot shape which is filled with a dielectric having a dielectric constant different from that of the circuit board. The impedance matching device is configured such that a length of the slot shape in a propagation direction is less than 1/4 of a wavelength of a use frequency upper limit. The impedance matching device is configured such that a size of a rectangular shape of the slot shape in a magnetic field direction is larger than the first opening of the horn antenna.

摘要: A sensor has an antenna. The antenna includes a radiation source and a wave guide. The radiation source is formed on a substrate. The wave guide internally propagates electromagnetic waves radiated from the radiation source and radiates the electromagnetic waves as a beam. The wave guide has a radiation-side opening in which a first direction and a second direction are orthogonal to each other, and the second direction is longer than the first direction. In a cross-sectional shape of the beam, perpendicular to a radiation direction of the beam radiated from the wave guide, a first direction and a second direction are orthogonal to each other, and the second direction is narrower than the first direction.
