摘要： Systems, apparatuses and methods may provide for a thermal protection apparatus comprising a substrate including surfaces defining one or more channels and an array of openings adjacent to the one or more channels and an outer layer coupled to the substrate. The outer layer may include a plurality of opaque elastic regions positioned adjacent to the array of openings. Additionally, a fluid may be positioned within the one or more channels. In one example, the plurality of opaque elastic regions are expandable to become protrusions including one or more of a rectangular shape, a donut shape or a dome shape.

The mechanical drivers may be provided to supplement traditional speakers. In an embodiment, mechanical drivers are boosted in effectiveness by being disposed against a sturdy surface such as a desktop. When a user holds a convertible tablet up, such enhancement may be provided by enabling mechanical drivers that are disposed against a base or other structural member of the convertible tablet.

摘要： A computer system includes two or more subsystems. In one example, a first subsystem is executing a multimedia application using data stored in a first storage device. A copy of the data is also stored in a second storage device associated with a second subsystem. The second subsystem may be a dedicated multimedia player controller. When the first subsystem is to enter a sleep state, the second subsystem may continue to process the multimedia data stored in the second storage device. The second subsystem may also use the same audio port that the first subsystem was using before it enters the sleep state. Appropriate transition point may be determined by the second subsystem to ease audio disruption.

The method may include coupling hardware device to a computing platform, where the hardware device has memory and the computing platform has memory. The operating system of the computing platform may be detected by the hardware device and the platform may download and execute code stored by the hardware device to and in response to the executed code the computing platform may locate a source for a download of driver information for the added hardware. 摘要： Systems and methods for providing a multi-directional camera for a mobile device are disclosed. Embodiments of a system may include a mobile device having a chassis and a multi-directional camera attached to the mobile device. The camera may include two or more camera lenses pointing in different directions and an image sensor substantially perpendicular to an image sensor axis. Embodiments may also include a mirror to redirect light from a camera lens to the image sensor where the mirror is tilted with respect to the image sensor axis and a rotating mechanism attached to the chassis to rotate the mirror from a first position to a second position, the first position resulting in light being redirected from a first lens to the imaging sensor and the second mirror position resulting in light being redirected from a second lens to the imaging sensor. Other embodiments are disclosed and claimed.
