    摘要: In a mobile communication system including a transmitter and a receiver, an LDPC code is generated by encoding received information data such that a fifth partial matrix obtained by combining a second partial matrix having even-numbered columns of a first partial matrix corresponding to the information data with a fourth partial matrix having odd-numbered columns of a third partial matrix corresponding to a parity, and an eighth partial matrix obtained by combining a sixth partial matrix having odd-numbered columns of the first partial matrix with a seventh partial matrix having even-numbered columns of the third partial matrix correspond to a ninth partial matrix obtained by exclusive-ORing the first partial matrix and the third partial matrix and a parity check matrix having a predetermined rank in a binary field. A space-time LDPC code is generated by spatial-mapping the LDPC code according to a predetermined spatial mapping scheme.

    摘要: Provided is an apparatus and method for transmitting/receiving data in a communication system using a structured Low Density Parity Check (LDPC) code. The transmitter performs structured LDPC coding on input information data using a structured LDPC code, parallel-converts a structured LDPC codeword generated by performing the structured LDPC coding, in units of groups having a predetermined size, and transmits data. The receiver receives a plurality of parallel data streams, serial-converts the received parallel data streams in units of groups having a predetermined size, and performs structured LDPC decoding on the data which was serial-converted group by group, using a structured LDPC code.

    摘要: A mobile communication system and method for transmitting signals through a plurality of transmission antennas by space-time coding the signals. The signals are transmitted using a low density parity check code. A lifting low density parity check matrix is formed by expanding values of elements in a low density parity check matrix with a sub-matrix corresponding to a number of the transmission antennas. The signals to be transmitted are coded using the lifting low density parity check matrix. Thereafter, the coded signals are serial/parallel converted and transmitted through the transmission antennas.

    摘要: A mobile communication system and method for transmitting signals through a plurality of transmission antennas by space-time coding the signals. The signals are transmitted using a low density parity check code.
