Abstract: A direct type backlight unit having liftable frame structure comprises a housing, an upper frame and a plurality of lamps, wherein the plurality of lamps disposed on a cavity defined by the housing and at least one has a foggy region; the upper frame is configured to accommodate a plurality of optical films and a liquid crystal panel and has two clip members for engaging with two connection hole of the housing such that the upper frame can be easily fixed on the housing. A plurality of lamp connection units are disposed within the cavity and each comprises a conductive clamp member for clamping the conductive electrode of the lamp, thereby facilitating the replacement of the lamps.

Abstract: Earth-boring drill bits with one or more substantially rectangular nozzles through which drilling fluid is discharged to clean and cool the bit cutters and flush the cuttings produced by the bit from the drilling region to the top of the bore hole. The rectangular nozzle is more effective in cleaning and cooling the cutters and in removing the cuttings, when compared with the results achieved with the nozzle having a round or circular bore. The rectangular nozzle has a larger cross-sectional area than a circular nozzle while providing substantially the same fluid pressure drop across the nozzle, larger particles in the drilling fluid being capable of passing through the rectangular nozzle which would plug the passage through the circular nozzle. More specifically, rectangular nozzles are highly effective when incorporated in polycrystalline diamond compact bits, in which various cutter arrangements can be used.

Abstract: A method and device for manufacturing a color filter. The method includes: providing a substrate (30), forming a black matrix (31) on the substrate, forming a color photo-resist layer (32) on the substrate including the black matrix, photolithographing the color photo-resist layer, partly photolithographing the color photo-resist layer corresponding to each edge of opening of the black matrix, and forming a transparent conductive layer (34). The device includes an exposure unit, the exposure unit including a mask for exposing the color photo-resist layer, the mask including a light-shielding area and a light transmitting area, there is a slit in each edge of the light-shielding area. The color filter employing the method and device can avoid protrusions. The process for manufacturing the color filter is simplified, and costs are reduced. Additionally, a thickness of the color filter can be reduced, which can increase a light transmittance of the color filter.

Abstract: A gaseous lamp includes a housing, a lamp shade disposed on the housing, a valve device having a receptacle received in the housing and having a gas passage and an inlet for coupling to a gaseous reservoir. A control member is disposed in the receptacle, and includes a plunger core slidably received in a coil which may force the plunger core to actuate a valve member to selectively block the gas passage of the receptacle.
