摘要: A simulating circuit (2), for testing a transit-time flowmeter (1) according to an embodiment of the invention, comprises an interface circuit (20) connecting with the transit-time flowmeter. The interface circuit receives driving signals from the transit-time flowmeter and generates a trigger signal on a rising or falling edge of the driving signals. An oscillator (21) outputs a clock signal. A delay generator (221) generates a preset time delay. A Digital to Analog Converter (DAC, 25) retrieves preset digitalized waveform. The DAC is enabled by the oscillator on ending of the preset time delay and converts the preset digitalized waveform into analog waveform output. The analog waveform output is sent back to the transit-time flowmeter, and thus a transit time or and a waveform through flowing fluids is simulated.

摘要: A corrosion detection apparatus is provided. The corrosion detection apparatus is capable of detecting corrosion on a surface of a pipe or a vessel where the surface contacts a fluid that is corrosive to the surface. The corrosion detection apparatus includes a corrodible element having a contact surface; at least two electrodes that are in electrical communication with each other through a segment of the corrodible element; and a detector in communication with the at least two electrodes. The detector detects a characteristic impedance value from the at least two electrodes through the corrodible element segment.

摘要: A method and system for recreating a two-dimensional distribution of temperatures in an exhaust plane of a gas turbine engine. Light transmission and detection pairs may be arranged in the annulus of the exhaust of the turbine engine in such a way that the individual rays form a two-dimensional mesh of beams across a sector of the exhaust. Based on the absorption of the rays, the temperature of the sector of the exhaust thru which the ray passes may be determined. Based on these determinations, an image that corresponds to the operation of the turbine engine may be generated.
