A GPS positioning method for a mobile terminal, and a mobile terminal are provided. The method includes: after GPS positioning is started, acquiring a first cell identifier of a first cell in which the mobile terminal is located; acquiring, according to the first cell identifier, first latitude and longitude information corresponding to the first cell identifier from a correspondence table stored on the mobile terminal, where the correspondence table includes a cell identifier and latitude and longitude information corresponding to the cell identifier; and with reference to the first latitude and longitude information, and time information and ephemeris information that are acquired in advance, performing GPS positioning on the mobile terminal by using a GPS receiver of the mobile terminal.

A method includes identifying, by a wireless communications module included in a communications device and when a Wireless Fidelity (Wi-Fi) mode of the communications device is already enabled, whether service data to be sent exists currently. The method further includes acquiring, by the wireless communications module, received attribute information in response to the service data existing currently. The method further includes determining, by the wireless communications module by using the received attribute information, a sending rate for sending the service data; and determining, by the wireless communications module according to the sending rate, a supply voltage value of a power amplifier connected to the wireless communications module, so that the power amplifier amplifies, according to the supply voltage value, a service request signal carrying the service data.

A method and an apparatus for setting a working mode of power amplifier (PA) blanking are disclosed, which resolve a problem that, in the prior art, when a Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM) is working, because a PA blanking function cannot be configured flexibly to an enabled state or a disabled state, quality of a Global Positioning System (GPS) receiving signal is degraded. When a GPS is running, it is detected, at a preset interval, whether a GSM service is running. When the GSM service is running, a current quantity of timeslots occupied by the GSM service and a current power control level used by the GSM service are acquired.

A streaming media packet processing method and a mobile terminal are provided. The method includes receiving a streaming media packet and determining whether the streaming media packet is an error streaming media packet according to a first cyclic redundancy check (CRC) code of the streaming media packet. If the streaming media packet is an error streaming media packet, the method includes determining whether a transmission control protocol (TCP)/internet protocol (IP) header of the streaming media packet is correct. If the TCP/IP header of the streaming media packet is correct, the method further includes determining whether the streaming media packet is preset streaming media. If the streaming media packet is preset streaming media, the method further includes calculating a second CRC of the streaming media packet, combining the second CRC with the streaming media packet, and transmitting the streaming media packet combined with the second CRC to a processor such that the processor processes the streaming media packet according to the second CRC. Hence, an anti-interference capability of the WiFi chip during streaming media transmission and a transmission stability of a multimedia service packet are improved.
