Abstract: A three-electrode battery (10) and an energy storage system are disclosed. The three-electrode battery (10) includes a battery management unit (14), a housing (11), and a reference electrode (13) and a battery cell (12) that are disposed in the housing (11). A detection part (131) of the reference electrode (13) is located in the battery cell (12). A reference electrode tab (132) is located outside the battery cell (12). The battery management unit (14) is connected to the reference electrode tab (132) and a negative electrode tab (122) of the battery cell (12), so that a voltage between the reference electrode (13) and a negative electrode of the battery cell (12) can be collected in real time, and a charging current of the battery (10) is controlled based on the negative electrode potential, so that the charging current can be optimized and adjusted in real time.

Abstract: A battery heating system includes: a temperature monitoring circuit configured to output a temperature monitoring signal; a voltage conversion circuit configured to receive a first voltage that is input by a power supply or a second voltage that is input by a to-be-heated battery; and a control circuit configured to receive the temperature monitoring signal and output a control signal. The voltage conversion circuit is configured to perform boosting processing or bucking processing on the first voltage based on the control signal or perform boosting processing or bucking processing on the second voltage based on the control signal to enable the to-be-heated battery to receive a charging current from the power supply in a first time segment using the voltage conversion circuit and the to-be-heated battery to output a discharging current to the power supply in a second time segment using the voltage conversion circuit.

Abstract: A battery module, a battery pack, and a vehicle are described in this patent application. In the battery module, a plurality of grooves separated by partition parts are disposed in a module casing, a plurality of jelly rolls of the battery module are embedded in the grooves, and a top cover covers an opening of each groove to seal the groove as an independent mounting cavity. In this way, each groove wall in the module casing and the top cover may be used as a housing for sealing each jelly roll, to avoid a case in which an electrolyte in each jelly roll decomposes and produces gas in a process of using the battery module because the electrolyte is leaked from one jelly roll to another jelly roll.
