Abstract: A neutral point clamped inverter and a photovoltaic power supply system include a power module, a switch module, and a control module. The power module may include a power supply and a first capacitor and a second capacitor that are connected in series and then connected in parallel to two ends of the power supply. The switch module may include a first switch unit, a second switch unit, and a third switch unit. The control module may be separately connected to the first switch unit, the second switch unit, and the third switch unit. The control module may control each of the first switch unit, the second switch unit, and the third switch unit to be turned on or turned off, so that different switch units in the switch module are selected to bear a conduction loss or a switching loss.

Abstract: This application provides a control method for a switching apparatus. The switching apparatus includes at least two switching devices connected in parallel, a minimum pulse width limit of the first switching device is less than a minimum pulse width limit of the second switching device, and the first switching device and the second switching device are in a turn-off state. The method includes: obtaining on-state holding time of the switching apparatus; controlling the at least two switching devices to remain in a cut-off state when the on-state holding time is less than the minimum pulse width limit of the first switching device; and controlling the first switching device to perform a switching operation when the on-state holding time is greater than or equal to the minimum pulse width limit of the first switching device. The application can reduce a loss of the switching device and reduce output distortion.

Abstract: A three-level neutral point clamped inverter includes four switch units. When an average value of an output current of the three-level neutral point clamped inverter is greater than a first current threshold or less than a second current threshold, only one of the four switch units is controlled to perform a high-frequency operation, to reduce power consumption caused by a high-frequency operation. The average value of the output current is an average value of the output current of the three-level neutral point clamped inverter in a switching cycle. The first current threshold is a positive number, and the second current threshold is a negative number. Power consumption caused by the high-frequency operation of the switch unit in the inverter may be reduced, and electric energy conversion efficiency of the inverter may be improved. A time period in which two switch units perform complementary operations at high frequency is very small.
