Abstract: According to embodiments, a user equipment (UE) performs a first type of sensing in a sensing window to detect first one or more SL transmissions using a sidelink (SL) radio access technology (RAT). The UE performs a second type of sensing to detect second one or more transmissions using a non-SL RAT different from the SL RAT. The second type is different from the first type. The UE selects an SL resource in an unlicensed band in a selection window for an SL transmission based on the first type of sensing and the second type of sensing. The UE transmits the SL transmission via the SL resource using the SL RAT.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) may perform partial sensing during a sidelink (SL) discontinuous reception (DRX) inactive time of the UE over a partial sensing occasion to obtain a sensing result. The partial sensing may include periodic based partial sensing (PBPS) or contiguous partial sensing (CPS), and the partial sensing occasion may include a sensing occasion determined on a most recent sensing occasion for PBPS or a minimum number of slots for CPS. The UE may determine, based on at least the sensing result, available resources for SL transmissions, and transmit a SL transmission over a resource of the available resources.

Abstract: A first user equipment (UE) reserves a resource from a resource pool for transmission of sidelink data associated with a packet priority, and transmits a location of the reserved resource, an indicator indicating whether a reservation priority is assigned to the sidelink data, and a priority value that is associated with the packet priority or the reservation priority. A second UE receives the location of the reserved resource, the indicator and the priority value, and based thereon performs sidelink communication. A UE may also select, from a resource pool based on a packet priority of sidelink data to be transmitted, a subset of resources usable by the UE, and transmit the sidelink data using a resource selected from the subset of resources. The resource pool includes one or more subsets of resources each of which is associated with a set of priority values.

Abstract: According to embodiments, a first UE (e.g., UE A) receives from a second UE (e.g., UE B) a sidelink control information (SCI) in a first slot. The SCI comprises a resource reservation for a shared channel. The resource reservation indicates a set of frequency resources and a time resource assignment. The first UE transmits to the second UE a conflict indicator on resources of a feedback channel. The resources of the feedback channel include a second slot for transmitting the conflict indicator. A location of the second slot is based on one of the first slot or a slot indicated by the time resource assignment. The conflict indicator indicates a potential resource conflict or a detected resource conflict on at least one of the set of frequency resources or the time resource assignment indicated by the resource reservation.
