Abstract: Disclosed are a routing information transmission method and apparatus, and a communication system, and belong to the field of communication technologies. The routing information transmission method is applied to a system including data middleware and a routing information base (RIB), and the data middleware communicates with the RIB. The data middleware may obtain routing information from the RIB, and send the routing information obtained from the RIB to a third-party consumer device. In addition, the data middleware may also obtain routing information from a third-party producer device, and send the routing information obtained from the third-party producer device to the RIB. Therefore, according to technical solutions provided herein, the routing information included in the RIB is openly exported, and the routing information generated by the third-party producer device is imported into the RIB.

Abstract: A first network device includes a processor configured to analyze a data stream entering a network on which the first network device is located to obtain a traffic characteristic of a target data stream, and advertise a Flow Specification (FlowSpec) route, where the FlowSpec route carries redirect indication information, the redirect indication information includes identification information, the identification information is used to uniquely identify a first virtual private network (VPN) instance in a second network device, the redirect indication information instructing to redirect the data stream including the traffic characteristic of the target data stream to the first VPN instance, the second network device is an edge device of a service provider network accessed by the network, and the first VPN instance is a target VPN instance to which the target data stream is redirected in the second network device.

Abstract: In a route management method, a configuration distribution device may create a route processing unit in at least one route processing device when there is a route management requirement, determine a route processing unit corresponding to each to-be-processed target private network, and then send configuration information of each target private network to a corresponding route processing unit, so that the route processing unit processes a route of a corresponding target private network. The at least one route processing device is created in real time based on the route management requirement, and each route processing unit can independently complete route receiving and sending and route selection of a corresponding target private network.
