The technology of this disclosure relates to a method, an apparatus, a device, a storage medium, and a system for determining a collection period. The technology relates to the field of machine learning technologies. In this disclosure, a machine learning model is obtained by using a training dataset collected based on candidate collection periods of X features, and a candidate collection period of each of the X features is determined as a target collection period of each feature based on the obtained machine learning model and a first condition. Because the target collection period of each feature is greater than a minimum collection period of each feature, subsequently, if data is collected based on the target collection period of each feature, an amount of the collected data is reduced, to reduce collection load of a device and memory occupied by sampled data, thereby reducing time redundancy.

A video quality assessment method and device are provided. The video quality assessment method includes: obtaining a to-be-assessed video, where the to-be-assessed video includes a forward error correction (FEC) redundancy data packet; when a quantity of lost data packets of a first source block in the to-be-assessed video is less than or equal to a quantity of FEC redundancy data packets of the first source block, generating a first summary packet for a non-lost data packet of the first source block, and generating a second summary packet for a lost data packet of the first source block; and calculating a mean opinion score of video (MOSV) of the to-be-assessed video based on the first summary packet and the second summary packet. The MOSV calculated according to the method is more consistent with real video experience of a user, so accuracy of video quality assessment can be improved.

The method includes: obtaining flow parameters of a plurality of data flows within a first time period; obtaining at least one data flow group according to the flow parameters of the plurality of data flows and a flow parameter rule of at least one preset access mode, where a relationship between data flows in each data flow group satisfies a flow parameter rule of one preset access mode; and determining group parameters of each data flow group.

The sampling frequency recommendation method includes: obtaining a network key performance indicator of a to-be-analyzed data stream; sampling the network key performance indicator based on a plurality of different sampling frequencies to obtain an experience quality sequence corresponding to each sampling frequency, where the plurality of different sampling frequencies include one standard sampling frequency and at least two to-be-tested sampling frequencies, and the standard sampling frequency is greater than each to-be-tested sampling frequency; and determining a matching degree between an experience quality sequence corresponding to each to-be-tested sampling frequency and a standard experience quality sequence, and determining a recommended sampling frequency based on the matching degree between the experience quality sequence corresponding to each to-be-tested sampling frequency and the standard experience quality sequence.

A system for processing a streaming media service and a method and a network device thereof are provided. The system includes a network device and an encoder. The network device has an embedded streaming function module. The encoder includes two egress ports, where the two egress ports of the encoder are connected to an active input port and a standby input port of the network device respectively. The encoder is configured to: receive a streaming media service signal, encode the streaming media service signal to generate a streaming media service coded signal, and send the streaming media service coded signal to the network device. The network device is configured to receive, by using the embedded streaming function module through the active input port or the standby input port, a streaming media service coded signal sent by the encoder, and provide the streaming media service coded signal for a terminal.

This application provides a method for determining an access device type, a device, and a system. An access device type is determined by obtaining one or more packet pairs and a time difference of each packet pair. Each packet pair includes a first packet and a second packet, where the second packet is a response to the first packet, and the one or more packet pairs pass through a same access device. Based on this solution, maintenance manpower required for determining an access device type can be reduced, and O&M personnel management complexity of operators or service providers can be reduced.

In the method, a detection agent apparatus receives location information of a monitoring point on a service path that is sent by a detection control apparatus, where the detection agent apparatus is located in the NFV system; the detection agent apparatus obtains fault locating information from the monitoring point based on the location information of the monitoring point, where the fault locating information is information obtained by the monitoring point according to a filter criterion, and the fault locating information includes the location information of the monitoring point; and the detection agent apparatus sends the fault locating information to the detection control apparatus, where the detection control apparatus may determine a faulty monitoring point based on the fault locating information and a service model corresponding to the service path.

A method and an apparatus for sending a TCP data packet and a system. The method includes: obtaining a first round-trip time of sending a TCP data packet in a network, and determining a second round-trip time; if the first round-trip time is longer than the second round-trip time, using a congestion window determined according to a first algorithm as a first congestion window; otherwise, using a congestion window determined according to a second algorithm as the first congestion window; and sending the TCP data packet by using the first congestion window. In the technical solution disclosed in the present invention, a current congestion window that exists when a first round-trip time is obtained grows to a first congestion window at one go, so that a requirement of a service for a throughput can be better met, and a network bandwidth can be utilized more effectively.

Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, an apparatus and a system for sending and receiving a media stream. In the embodiments of the present invention, during a transmission process of media content, if the packet loss occurs, and if retransmission still does not succeed after the retransmission has been attempted for finite times, the retransmission of the lost data packet is abandoned through notification of the retransmission suppression information, and transmission of a subsequent part of media stream is continued, which ensures uninterrupted transmission of the media stream, and avoids the occurrence of a screen mess of a picture, a picture jitter or pause, and even a program interrupt, thereby improving picture quality.
