    Abstract: This application provides a network access method for hybrid networking, a proxy coordination device, and a station device. The method includes: calculating, by a proxy coordination device, a network access parameter based on a link quality parameter of the proxy coordination device in a PLC network, where the network access parameter includes link overheads, and the link overheads are used to indicate overheads for performing network access by a station device through the proxy coordination device based on radio frequency RF communication; and sending, by the proxy coordination device, a DIO packet, where the DIO packet includes the link overheads. As such the station device can select a better network access path based on the link overheads, helping to improve operation efficiency of a hybrid network.

    Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose a communication method, and a communications apparatus, device, and system. When customer premise equipment has an overlay virtual network instance, a loopback interface is established in the overlay virtual network instance, and an IP address is allocated to the loopback interface. In addition, the customer premise equipment establishes a transmission path to a server side based on the overlay virtual network instance, and sends a packet to the server side by using the transmission path. The packet includes the IP address of the loopback interface, to register with a server by using the IP address, so that the server can identify the customer premise equipment based on the IP address. In the method, when the customer premise equipment sends the packet by using the transmission path, a source address of the sent packet is the IP address of the loopback interface in the overlay virtual network instance. Therefore, the customer premise equipment can register with the server by using the same IP address, so that the server can uniquely identify the customer premise equipment.

    Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose a packet forwarding method and apparatus, and a network system, and belong to the field of communication technologies. The method includes: When sending a first packet, first CPE may perform inner encapsulation and outer encapsulation on the first packet. The inner tunnel is an end-to-end tunnel between the first CPE and second CPE, and a second destination address in the outer tunnel encapsulation may be an address of a GW. It can be learned that in this application, an end-to-end inner tunnel may be established between the first CPE and the second CPE, and the inner tunnel may pass through a backbone network via the GW and then reach the second CPE on a basis that an outer tunnel is established so that the first CPE and the GW communicate with each other.
