In this application, a terminal device receives a preconfigured measurement gap MG indicated by a network device and MG status information corresponding to each CC in at least one CC after the CC is deactivated. The MG status information is activated or deactivated. In a case that M CCs in the at least one CC are deactivated, the terminal device activates or deactivates the MG based on M pieces of MG status information corresponding to the M deactivated CCs, so that the terminal device can accurately determine, based on the MG status information of the deactivated CC, whether to activate or deactivate a preconfigured MG.

The network routing device's first network transmission processing module is configured to convert a received data signal into at least two baseband signals, send one baseband signal to a first radio frequency unit, and send another baseband signal to a first wired communication module. The first radio frequency unit converts the baseband signal into a radio frequency signal and sends the radio frequency signal by using a first antenna, and the first wired communication module converts the baseband signal into a network signal that can be transmitted in a wired transmission medium and sends the network signal to the wired transmission medium for transmission. According to the network routing device, a signal can be transmitted in both a wired manner and a wireless manner. This improves signal transmission reliability.

    摘要: The present disclosure provides, for example, methods for measuring interference to a cable modem (CM), and corresponding example apparatuses and systems. One example method includes sending, by a cable modem termination system (CMTS), a broadcast message to all CMs connected to the CMTS, where the broadcast message includes information designating one of the CMs to send a probing signal by using a spectrum S in a timeslot T. The CMTS can then broadcast a pseudo random binary sequence (PRBS) by using the spectrum S in a downlink direction in the timeslot T, and can obtaining modulation error ratio (MER) information recorded in the timeslot T by other CMs. A difference between MER information in the timeslot T and MER information in a normal data timeslot can be used, for each of the other CMs, as intensity of interference to the corresponding CM.
