Abstract: The present disclosure relates to information transmission methods and network devices. One example method includes a second network node sends a first paging message to a first network node, where the first paging message comprises first configuration information corresponding to a terminal device, and the first configuration information comprises identification information of the terminal device and a paging cycle of the terminal device. The first network node determines paging occasion based on the first configuration information and configuration information of a cell served by the first network node. The first network node sends a third paging message based on the first paging message and the first paging configuration parameter, where the third paging message is used for paging the terminal device.

Abstract: According to a synchronization method and apparatus provided in this application, a source station sends location information of the source station; and after obtaining a signal propagation delay that is calculated according to the location information of the source station and location information of a to-be-synchronized station, the to-be-synchronized station performs synchronization with the source station according to a synchronization reference time obtained by subtracting the propagation delay from a receiving time of a first network reference signal received from the source station. It can be learned that, in a process in which the to-be-synchronized station performs synchronization with the source station, the signal propagation delay between the to-be-synchronized station and the source station is used to compensate for the receiving time of the first network reference signal. Therefore, the consumed propagation delay can be subtracted from the synchronization reference time, so that synchronization accuracy is improved.

Abstract: This application provides a network management method and apparatus, to implement a service level specification SLS goal of a network slice and/or a network slice subnet. The method includes: A first network management producer entity receives first management policy information, and performs a first management policy in the first management policy information which is corresponding to a first closed-loop management process. The first closed-loop management process has an association relationship with at least one second closed-loop management process which is corresponding to second management policy information, wherein the first management policy information and at least one piece of second management policy information are for implementing assurance goals of the first closed-loop management process and the at least one second closed-loop management process. The first closed-loop management process and the second closed-loop management process are respectively for implementing SLS goals of the first managed object and a second managed object.

Abstract: A network slice management function (NSMF) device sends a resource request to a target NSMF device, where the resource request carries information about a source network slice subnet; receives a response to the resource request sent by the target NSMF; and sends a handover configuration message to a source network slice subnet management function (NSSMF) device. The response to the resource request includes information about a target network slice subnet, and the information about the target network slice subnet includes an identifier (ID) of the target network slice subnet, information about a target base station, and/or information about a target cell.

Abstract: A method is provided. The method includes: receiving a handover request, from a source base station, for requesting to perform time synchronization with a target base station; and sending handover request acknowledgement information to the source base station, where the handover request acknowledgement information includes information used to indicate whether the source base station performs time synchronization with the target base station. The source base station may determine, according to the handover request acknowledgement information sent by the target base station, whether the source base station needs to perform time synchronization with the target base station.

Abstract: This application provides a communication method, applied to beam sweeping. The method includes: obtaining system load of a cell at a current moment; configuring a quantity of sweeping beams in a sweeping periodicity based on the system load at the current moment; and configuring a quantity of shutdown symbols based on the quantity of sweeping beams. This application further provides a communication apparatus, a communication device, and a computer-readable storage medium, to resolve a technical problem in a conventional technology that a plurality of symbols are always in a power consumption state and energy overheads are high because a fixed quantity of beams are used for sweeping to enhance coverage, so that a base station saves more energy.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to handover methods. In one example method, a first network node determines that a terminal device needs handover. The handover is from a second network node to a third network node. The first network node sends a user equipment context setup request message to the third network node. The user equipment context setup request message is used to instruct the third network node to establish a radio link for the terminal device. The first network node sends a handover command to the terminal device. The handover command is used to instruct the terminal device to perform the handover.
