Abstract: An apparatus, a method, and a computer readable medium are provided. The apparatus is configured to transmit and/or receive control plane signaling related to the control of radio resources of a sidelink communication system to/from a user equipment (UE), wherein the control plane signaling is carried over a user plane, in particular through IP encapsulation, of a second communication system between the apparatus and the UE. Moreover, embodiments of the disclosure relate to a corresponding UE as well as corresponding methods.
