Abstract: In embodiments of the present invention, when a duplicate data query is performed on a received data stream, a first physical node which corresponds to each first sketch value and is in a cluster system is identified according to a first sketch value representing the data stream, and then the first sketch value representing the data stream is sent to the identified physical node for the duplicate data query, and a procedure of the duplicate data query does not change with an increase of the number of nodes in the cluster system; therefore, a calculation amount of each node does not increase with an increase of the number of nodes in the cluster system.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a metadata querying method and apparatus. The method includes: sampling at least one piece of first metadata from to-be-searched-for metadata; using at least a part of feature values in each piece of the sampled first metadata as an index, and searching a sparse index table preset in a memory for a corresponding container identifier; selecting, according to the number of times that a same container identifier is found, a container corresponding to a container identifier that meets a set condition; loading metadata in the selected container into a metadata cache; and searching the metadata cache for a data block that is the same as the to-be-searched-for metadata. In the embodiments of the present invention, querying performance can be improved and occupied memory space can be reduced.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a reset method and a network device. The method includes: receiving, by an SPI Flash, a reset instruction sent by a processor; and performing reset processing corresponding to the reset instruction according to the reset instruction, where the reset instruction includes interrupting a current operation, recording interruption state information when the current operation is interrupted, and setting a current state to a state of responding to a read instruction of the processor; after finishing the reset operation, sending, by the processor, a read instruction to the SPI Flash, and receiving interruption state information sent by the SPI Flash according to the read instruction; and then determining, according to the interruption state information, whether the interrupted operation in the SPI Flash needs to be continued, and if yes, sending an instruction of continuing the interrupted operation to the SPI Flash.
