An operating method for a media stream transmission key includes: detecting, by a media gateway, lifetime status information of a media stream transmission key; and when the media gateway determines that a lifetime of the media stream transmission key expires, executing, by the media gateway, a media stream transmission key lifetime expiry behavior according to an instruction of a media gateway controller. The embodiments of the present invention fill a technical gap that an operation is performed on a lifetime status of a media stream transmission key in an architecture where an MG and an MGC are separated.

The present disclosure relates to the technical field of communications. Disclosed are a control method, an apparatus, a server and a terminal device of a telepresence conference. The method comprises: a server receiving a conference control policy message sent by a terminal device that is provided with a management permission; the server, based on geographical location information and role information of a conference control object, determining a media stream message corresponding to the conference control object; and the server controlling the media stream message corresponding to the conference control object based on a media type and a conference estate locking trigger condition of conference control content.

A media content updating method is presented, wherein the method is performed by a media transmit end, including obtaining a changed media object attribute on a side of the media transmit end; determining an updating operation instruction for the changed media object attribute according to a change type of the changed media object attribute; and sending a first announcement message to a media receive end, where the first announcement message includes the updating operation instruction and the changed media object attribute, so that the media receive end updates, according to the updating operation instruction and the changed media object attribute, media content that is on the side of the media transmit end and that is stored on a side of the media receive end. In embodiments of the present disclosure, an announcement message carries a changed media object attribute, so that a bandwidth occupancy rate can be reduced.

The present invention provides a media negotiation method, device, and system for a multi-stream conference. The method includes: sending a media advertisement message that carries information about at least two media data objects; receiving a media selection message that carries information, about a media data object, selected by a second media entity; and determining a corresponding media data object according to the information, about the media data object, selected by the second media entity, and establishing a media transmission channel with the second media entity, so as to transmit the corresponding media data object to the second media entity through the media transmission channel. The method includes obtaining media information and receiving a session request sent by the user equipment; obtaining, according to a media object identifier carried in a media control policy, attribute information of a media object corresponding to the media object identifier carried in the media control policy, from the media information, and obtaining a session identifier and channel information that are corresponding to the media object identifier carried in the media control policy, from the session request; and sending a media operation instruction included in the media control policy, the obtained attribute information of the media object, and the obtained channel information to the user equipment that sends the session identifier, where the media operation instruction is used to instruct the user equipment to operate the received attribute information of the media object and the received channel information.

According to the embodiments, the ROI video request can be met without consuming an encoder resource to break through limitation caused by an encoder resource amount to a quantity of ROI video requests that can be simultaneously met by the sending device.

A method for adjusting media stream transmission bandwidth and a related apparatus are provided. A media stream sending end acquires scores that are given, according to identifiers of multiple media streams, by a media stream receiving end to the media streams, where the multiple media streams are transmitted at a same transmission port, and these identifiers are described based on media stream content; when it is detected that congestion occurs or congestion is resolved, the media stream sending end performs transmission bandwidth adjustment on a corresponding media stream according to these scores, and therefore media stream transmission bandwidth adjustment may be performed, based on the media stream content, on the multiple media streams transmitted at the same transmission port.
