Abstract: A terminal device receives first scheduling information from an access network device, where the first scheduling information is used to schedule the terminal device to transmit a first transport block by using an unlicensed carrier; performs rate matching on the first transport block, to obtain uplink data; detects the unlicensed carrier, and determines a start time domain symbol, used to send the uplink data, in at least two time domain symbols included in a first subframe, where the at least two time domain symbols include a first time domain symbol and a second time domain symbol, the second time domain symbol is later than the first time domain symbol, and the start time domain symbol is the first time domain symbol or the second time domain symbol; and sends the uplink data to the access network device from the start time domain symbol.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides an information processing method and apparatus. A terminal device encodes uplink control information (UCI) to obtain coded bits of the UCI, and encodes data to obtain coded bits of the data. The terminal device multiplexes the coded bits of the UCI and the coded bits of the data to obtain a multiplexed bit sequence. The terminal device then transmits the multiplexed bit sequence to a network device via a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH). A length of a transmission time interval of the UCI is less than or equal to 0.5 millisecond. In this way, data transmission latency can be reduced.

The method may include determining, by a terminal device, that permission to use a channel is obtained at any time point within a time window, a start time point of the time window is a start time point of a symbol, an end time point of the time window is a second time point, the second time point is within a time occupied by the symbol, a signal includes at least an actual cyclic prefix and an information segment, duration of the actual cyclic prefix is less than or equal to a time length between the start time point of the symbol and the second time point. The method may also include sending, by the terminal device, the signal from the first time point.
