摘要: A radio frequency (RF) communications system may include a first RF node that transmits data, including a new frequency of operation, and a sequence of pilot symbols spread with a complex spreading code sequence. A second RF node may receive an incoming signal from the first RF node and perform despreading for N sample offset delays to generate N despreading sequences for the sequence of pilot symbols. The second RF node may perform a cross-correlation to select a desired despreading sequence from the N despreading sequences, determine a phase offset and timing offset, process the incoming signal based upon the desired despreading sequence, phase offset and timing offset, and switch to the new frequency of operation.

摘要: A method for implementing fault diagnosis by means of a spread spectrum carrier includes the following steps: designing incident signal parameters, selecting a spread spectrum sequence for fault detection, determining a center frequency and a sequence length of a spread spectrum code, and segmenting and transforming a power carrier source signal; using the fault detection spread spectrum sequence as a carrier spread spectrum code, and performing spread spectrum modulation on the transformed power carrier source signal to generate an SSPLCR sequence; coupling the SSPLCR sequence to a cable to be tested, and when the cable works normally without failure, transmitting the SSPLCR signal to the receiving terminal via the cable; when the cable fails, reflecting the SSPLCR signal back to the transmitting terminal.

摘要: Systems and methods are described for determining position of a receiver. The positioning system comprises a transmitter network including transmitters that broadcast positioning signals. The positioning system comprises a remote receiver that acquires and tracks the positioning signals and/or satellite signals. The satellite signals are signals of a satellite-based positioning system. A first mode of the remote receiver uses terminal-based positioning in which the remote receiver computes a position using the positioning signals and/or the satellite signals. The positioning system comprises a server coupled to the remote receiver. A second operating mode of the remote receiver comprises network-based positioning in which the server computes a position of the remote receiver from the positioning signals and/or satellite signals, where the remote receiver receives and transfers to the server the positioning signals and/or satellite signals.

摘要: Disclosed is a method for recovering an original signal in a DS-CDMA system based on complexity reduction. In such a method, first, a partial derivative for rMLL is calculated by using a partial derivative generated by applying fast Fourier transform (FFT) to a reduced negative marginal log likelihood (rMLL) obtained by applying a law of log determinant to a Gaussian process regression (GPR) scheme used for the multi-user detection and thereafter, integrating stochastic gradient descent (SGD). Thereafter, the rMLL is calculated by using the partial derivative for the rMLL and a hyper-parameter is updated to a convergence point until an error gap is converged by repeated calculation of the rMLL. Next, a kernel function used for estimating a matched filter is calculated by using the hyper-parameter estimated through the convergence and the original signal for each of multi-users is recovered by using the kernel function.

摘要: A digital radio receiver is adapted to receive radio signals modulated using continuous phase modulation. The receiver includes components for receiving analogue radio signals having various carrier frequencies and a plurality of correlators corresponding to different bit sequences. Each of the plurality of correlators share a common estimator for estimating a frequency offset between the radio signals carrier frequencies and nominal carrier frequencies. The receiver further includes components allowing the estimator to determine which of the correlators produce the most optimal output signal.
