    Abstract: An electron emission display includes: an electron emission substrate having at least one electron emission device formed thereon, an image forming substrate, and at least two spacers for supporting the electron emission substrate and the image forming substrate to be spaced apart from each other. Areas of the spacers per unit area are increased in at least one direction from a central region to a periphery region. The areas can be increased by, for example, increasing a cross-sectional area of each spacer or increasing the number of spacers. In another embodiment, heights of the spacers are decreased in at least one direction from the center region to the periphery region.

    Abstract: An electron emission display device includes an electron emission substrate; an electron emission device disposed on a region of the electron emission substrate; an auxiliary electrode electrically connected to the electron emission substrate at a portion other than the region where the electron emission device is disposed; an image forming substrate; an image implementing part corresponding to the electron emission device disposed on the image forming substrate; and a spacer for supporting the auxiliary electrode and the image forming substrate to be spaced apart from each other, the spacer comprising a conductive material. The space may be coated with a conductive material or doubly coated with two conductive materials, the two conductive materials having different resistances from each other.

    Abstract: An electron emission device includes: a plate; first and second electrodes insulated from each other and arranged having a predetermined shape; an electron emitter connected to one of the first and second electrodes; and a third electrode formed with a hole through which electrons emitted from the electron emitter pass. The ratio of the a hole width of the third electrode to a width of the electron emitter is equal to or more than about 0.5 and equal to or less than about 1.0. With this configuration, there is no twisting or sagging, thereby satisfying predetermined standards for brightness and color purity.
